Looking for a unique getaway- what could be more fun than a post & beam barn. While this barn never stored hay or animals it was built in 2000 for unique living complete with a massive fireplace (with propane insert for both ambiance and heat) high end finishes and even on suites in both bedrooms. While not on Lake Winnipesaukee, it is 3 mins literally to the heart of Alton Bay and the launch ramp onto the Big Lake and 3 minutes to Mount Major for a great hiking experience, 10 mins to Gunstock for skiing and other year round activities and 15 minutes to Meadowbrook. Host is a licensed NH Realtor. NH Meals& Rentals License # 065215.

WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE THIS GREAT 'GETAWAY' FROM 'JACK' WHO WAS THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND BUILDER OF THIS UNIQUE BARN. JACK WAS A STONE MASON BY TRADE AND BUILT THE BIGGEST FIREPLACE HE COULD FOR YOU TO ENJOY. WHILE WE PUT IN A PROPANE INSERT TO MAKE IT MORE USER FRIENDLY FOR OUR GUESTS- IF BURNING WOOD IS YOUR THING - YOU CAN ENJOY THE OUTSIDE FIRE PIT. WHILE JACK'S GETAWAY IS NOT ON A MAIN HIGHWAY - IT IS ON A GREAT PAVED ROAD AND EASY TO GET TO - IT IS RIGHT IN ALTON BAY AND SUPER CLOSE TO 'THE BAY', MOUNT MAJOR HIKING, GUNSTOCK MOUNTAIN RESORT, LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE AND MUCH MORE. WE HOPE YOU LOVE IT AS MUCH AS THE ORIGINAL OWNER, OUR FAMILY AND OUR GUESTS HAVE.

JACK'S GETAWAY IS LOCATED ON A NICE PAVED ROAD RIGHT IN ALTON BAY. THE ROAD IS NOT A MAJOR HIGHWAY BUT A REGULAR ROAD AND SUPER CONVENIENT FOR GETTING AROUND THE LAKES REGION. LOCATED SO CLOSE TO SO MANY THINGS MAKES IT A GREAT LANDING SPOT. PLENTY OF OUTSIDE SPACE FOR A EVENING FIRE, BBQING FOR DINNER AND MORE AND TASTEFULLY BUILT INSIDE OFFERING YOU A GREAT CLEAN-UNIQUE PLACE TO LAY YOUR HEAD AT NIGHT.
