Kauai Getaway

This home was in a great area of Kauai, the southern part, close to the beach and within an hour drive to nearly all major destinations. It was a bit to far to walk to the beach, but a short 5 minute drive got us right to the best two beaches on the island. It was our first trip to Kauai. My wife and I went with 4 kids and a mother-in-law and there was plenty of room for us all to stay there. The only drawback was that there is not central A/C, so the weather dictated the comfort level of the home. It was mostly pleasant, other than a few especially warm nights. The kitchen was spacious and the garage held a few nice surprises such as two surfboards to borrow, a few paddle boards, as well as a boogie board. The property manager was very responsive and helpful, with tips about what to go and see. Overall, I would recommend this property.
