Long weekend with family

We had an excellent stay. Our hosts went out iof their way to ensure our family was well taken care of. The property was close to all we wanted to see and do. It was the perfect property for our family. Thank you again!

My wife and I are retired educators (both former Principal's) and parents to three adult daughters. When we unexpectedly sold the home we raised our family in, we found ourselves renting downtown Grand Haven. Our plan was to build and "down-size", but after a few months of living downtown Grand Haven we fell in love with the charm, people, and all the things to do. Instead of downsizing, we say we "fun-sized".

Why they chose this property

It was meant to be.....after deciding downtown life was for us we started what felt like a frustrating and futile hunt for a home. We weren't having much luck until on our way to the Tip A Few for a beer and burrito our friends were sitting on the porch. To make a long story short, by the end of the night, and last call at The Armory, we owned a home, and they finished a house on 5-mile Hill. We began work on the Carriage House in January, and by June has a beautiful space to share with family and friends.

The perfect VRBO with the convenience of having the owners on/near the property to help you with any extra amenity you may wish to have. From shrimp boils, outdoor dinners, boat rides, etc. a unique and personalized experience you won't forget (upon request).
