Misty Hollow is a mountainside subdivision of 20 cabins sparingly sited on or about one-acre plots. Neighboring cabins are visible through the tree canopy. The asphalt road has a 10-12 degree incline . No off-road vehicle is required as full size service vehicles are able to navigate it well.
Downtown Gatlinburg fun is 6.2 miles away. The center of Pigeon Forge is 8.1. Dollywood Parks Blvd is 10.4 miles.
Great Smoky Mountain National Park: Sugarlands Visitor Ctr is 9.2 miles

The mountain side cabin is located on asphalt mountain road. It is a curvy 12% incline road that levels out. NOT A DIFFICULT DRIVE Anticipate seasonal weather challenges (ice and snow) as access via mountain roads can be a challenge in the mountains during inclimate weather. A 4 wheel or AWD vehicle maybe necessary in the winter. No RV parking.
No pubic transit to the subdivision
Parking is parallel along the fence as the road continues to other cabins
PER HOA - No RV parking.

Stay weather aware during changing seasons. Lower roads can stay icy long after upper roads have thawed by the sun's warmth.
It is the responsibility of the guest to stay fire ban aware. The super dry conditions of the past years has made this more urgent than ever. The Sevier County Emergency Management is vigilant in sending out public advisories. Check local media and websites for the latest status.
Roads in the GSMNP are closed for various weather and other reasons, please check the park website before your day trip up the mountain. Turnarounds are difficult and time consuming of your vacation time.

No other grills are to be brought within or on the cabin decks. Damages due to fire or smoke will be charged to the renter. Conditions that could start a forest fire are forbidden on this property. Love the great Smoky Mountains. A painter of still life and reader of great novels. Married to my best friend, Charlie, and we enjoy peace and harmony with a huge splash of adventurous fun. Our cabin is a labor of inspired creativity. The renaissance forest mysteries and legends are the elements chosen for Jackalopia.
Why they chose this property
Jackalopia is brand new cabin with a nod to renaissance romance in forest theme suites. Located just minutes from the parkway, have the best of vacation getaways. Seasonal décor in luxurious setting. All things modern in the kitchen too. Coffee at sunrise on the deck or from the upper bedroom, moments to savor. Chance animal encounters too.
Stay in and stream your favorite show or play in the game room. Walk the neighborhood along our winding roads up and down. Not too much traffic since there are 20 cabin spread among the trees. At an altitude of 1900 ft, the air is clear and the leaves rustle on the trees.
Can you hear the steam locomotive Elizabeth? When the wind is right, you can hear the whistle. The parkway and all of glitz is only a short drive away.
It's amazing, tranquil, and private. Jackalopia - be inspired like us.
