Welcome back to paradise!!

This beautiful 2-bedroom 2-bath home is located at Nihi Kai Villas, one of the nicest resorts on Kauai's south shore. Beautifully decorated, immaculately maintained, and offering one of the loveliest garden views at Nihi Kai, our condo makes the perfect place for your island getaway.

The cathedral ceiling makes for an unparalleled sense of spaciousness. Rooms and furnishings are regularly refreshed/updated. Our gourmet kitchen offers cherry cabinets, granite countertops, and newer appliances. The drawers are filled with utensils that any cook, novice to expert, will appreciate. AND there's a blender for tropical drinks. We have A/C (installed 3/2022) and ceiling fans throughout.

All towels and linens provided - including beach towels. Plus, we have an in-unit washer and dryer. Pack light, and save room in your luggage for all those chocolate covered macadamia nuts that your friends are expecting you to bring back!

For your outdoor enjoyment, we have noodles for the pool, beach chairs, beach mats, a beach umbrella, and several sizes of ice chests.

For your indoor entertainment, we have a 55 inch HDTV in the living room (with DVR) and an HDTV in each bedroom.

From our condo you are:

· 2 ½ minutes (walking) from the pool

· 7 minutes (walking) from Brennecke Beach – great for boogie boarding, body surfing, and sunbathing.

· 11 minutes (walking) from Poipu Beach State Park – great for snorkeling, swimming (especially for the kids), picnics, and sunbathing.

· 1 mile from Poipu Village Shopping Center – Starbucks!!! Several restaurants & eateries including Keoki's (one of our favorites), Papalani Gelato, Whalers General Store, and lots of boutique shopping.

· 2 miles from Kukui'ula Village Shopping Center – Home to Roy's 1849 Eating House, Lappert's Ice Cream, Merriman's, Living Foods Market, boutique shopping and art galleries.

· 3 miles from Koloa Town

This was our second stay in this beautiful condo, we just love it! It’s perfect for families, very chill area with amazing walking access to Poipu. The pool is my favorite, stunning ocean views, refreshing temp and never crowded. Condo is fully stocked with beach gear and the kitchen has everything- we like cooking on vacation and I could even bake my husband a birthday cake from scratch! The owner Jeffrey is super nice and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Dreaming of coming back for years to come.

Jeffrey was so prompt with communication and helped us whenever we needed something. He checked in and we felt confident he would help us if we needed anything. When the cable went out for a short period, he informed us immediately and kept us updated. The condo is in a perfect location, easy walking to multiple beaches, restaurants, and hiking trails. We drove 15 minutes up to Koloa Town for great food, shopping, and desserts. And Lihue is only about 20 minutes away. The pool has a beautiful view of the ocean. We played pickleball multiple days- courts well maintained. We also appreciated all the beach supplies on hand and used some water booties for an inner tube river trip so we didn’t have to purchase. Having air conditioning was very convenient and I think key in the summer. Thank you for making our Kauai vacation amazing!

Loved the condo, especially the main lanai. Great place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We cooked only a couple of basic meals but the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. We loved the walking distance to Brennecke and Poipu beaches and loved being able to utilize the provided beach towels, coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas, and the regular umbrellas for rain showers and the in unit laundry. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to explore island & to see turtles!

Jeffrey’s condo had everything we could ask for and more. It was in a perfect location to explore the island and to walk to 2 perfect beaches, see the sunset at night and get the bonus of seeing 20 sea turtles on Poipu Beach each evening! We will definitely stay here again when we return to the spectacular Garden Isle.

Wonderful property

Our family of 4 had a wonderful 10 days here. The property is well stocked, air conditioned and a short walk to Poipu and Brennnecke beaches. It was perfect for our family vacation. The resort it is in is also nice and has a nice pool, tennis court and BBQ that were available at no extra charge.

Jeffrey is a hospice nurse who spent his entire life in the midwest until 2018 when he moved to Scottsdale, AZ. He LOVES the warmth of the Valley of the Sun. But, more importantly, he enjoys interacting with you and sharing his Kauai home.

Why they chose this property

Our first visit to Hawai'i was in January 2005. After a few days on Waikiki we were delighted to get away from the hustle and bustle of O'ahu to the peaceful tranquility of Kauai. As luck would have it we couldn't stay at a friend's condo nearby so the management company put us in Building 5 at Nihi Kai. We fell in love. The property is so well maintained; the sound of the birds is indescribable. And at night we'd see the beautiful warm vaulted ceilings of our soon-to be Kauai home. We looked at other resorts, but nothing compared to Nihi Kai.

What makes this property unique

We spent 113 nights on-island in 2009 so we know just what you need, what you're going to love and how you're going to feel. We also know the one thing you'll not like: leaving. Which is why we call our last day on island the 'saddest day at Nihi Kai'. Hmmm, maybe we should trademark that!
