The Bungalow at Eagleville Lake Under 3 miles to UCONN!

UCONN parents take note; only 2.8 miles to the campus!

Spend some time at the newly renovated Bungalow, offering 2 queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa, state of the art kitchen and large open living area overlooking the lake. The Bungalow has a chef's dream of a kitchen, with it's soapstone countertop, generous spice selection, coffee bar, small appliance cabinet and griddle/gas range.

The large open space lends itself to enjoying friends and family, all overlooking the tranquil lake. Enjoy a drink on the deck, go for a hike/walk, or have a wonderful day of kayaking and/or paddleboarding. We offer two tandem kayaks, two single kayaks, and a tandem stand or sit paddleboard for your enjoyment. You can paddle for miles in the lake or up the Willimantic River. Keep an eye out for turtles! Bring a fishing pole and bait and reel in a large or small mouthed bass! (Fishing license required )

If fishing and kayaking are not your thing, we have tons of outdoor games. Cornhole, horseshoes, badminton, and volleyball, just to name a few! In addition, there are miles of walking trails starting right down the road.

Coventry is known for its antique shops and restaurants. Once you've shopped 'til you've dropped, head back to The Bungalow to enjoy the firepit. Share a few stories and a few drinks. Once you are ready for bed, you will be sleeping on hotel quality beds and linens.

Please clean the grill to the way you found it. This is very important . If you choose to leave it up to the housekeeper, you will be charged $75.Please leave the money on the island in the kitchen.

Lisa was amazing and made the process easy. The property has all the amenities you need with 2 bedrooms and a fold out sofabed.We enjoyed the kayaking especially since the lake is so swallow. It was easy getting into and out at the landing next door. Highly recommend and we will be back!

This is the second time we have stayed at The Bungalow. We absolutely love it here. It's a perfect launch pad for plans with extended family in the area. The home is so comfortable, spotlessly clean, well-designed, and with many thoughtful touches. The host is very welcoming and responsive with any questions that come up. We hope to stay again!

We had an incredible stay at Lisa’s bungalow ! Everything was perfect, we found it exactly as described and even more beautiful and charming in real ! The access to the lake is pretty easy from the backgarden, we enjoyed kayaking and paddling. The fireplace was also amazing. And the host Lisa was quick to answer, and really nice with us ! Thanks also for the small gifts, we really appreciated ! We can only recommend this place for a getaway from the city !

Our stay at the Bungalow was amazing! Definitely wish we would have stumbled across this beautiful place last year while we were here visiting our son at UConn. Definitely roomy enough for the four of us to cozy in and visit on the rainy days. Definitely the cleanest place we have stayed at in all our travels to CT. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

What a lovely stay we had. Lisa is a fabulous host who we were lucky enough to meet. She was so accommodating and went out of her way to help us and make things as easy as possible. The accomodation is lovely, exactly as pictured. It is the most catered for accomodation we have ever stayed in and had everything you could think of and more! The kids were thrilled with the smores and selection of hot chocolates. The fire pit is lovely and we enjoyed the selection of games in the games shed. We couldn't have asked for any more. First, my Host Lisa was amazing to work with. She responded quickly to all of my questions and that was much appreciated!The cottage was adorable, immaculate and decorated with simple, tasteful, lake themed furniture and decor. The linens and towels were high quality. The beds were very comfortable. In fact, everything was high quality.The cookware, dishware, bakeware, glassware, barware, silverware, cutlery, and kitchen appliances included provided us with absolutely everything we needed and beyond! Everything was organized, labeled and there were items one would not expect to find in other rentals likeinsulated cups, sippie cups and dishware for children. This is a very family friendly spot. There were frozen ice packs, ice bucket and ice pops in the freezer.There were lake views from most windows. There was direct lake access for the kayaks to launch from.It was very peaceful with sounds of birds, ducks and squirrels hunting for acorns.There were tons of yard games for infants through adult ages.The fire pit was very close to the lake so you could enjoy the lakeview while enjoying the fire. The wood for the fire was on site and included in the price!I will be repeat booking this cottage for years to come. Im so happy I found this gem!
