This cabin was perfect for us, close to town plus we got to see a mama bear and her 4 cubs. The host were wonderful got us in the cabin a little early and when we had an issue with hot tub they were there immediately to address the problem. The only issue was the internet was not that great, but besides that it was perfect.
Stayed here for our anniversary. The house had everything that we needed and was super clean! It was cozy and welcoming! Look forward to renting again in the future.
The property/cabin was clean, nice, roomy, and just as advertised. The cabin was conveniently located with plenty of parking. It also had everything we needed for our trip. Checkout was also easy. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to others.
Amazing cabin that’s very clean, spacious and a close walk to the strip. Check in was super easy at the office and the staff there are super friendly and excited to provide recommendations in the area. Arcade game and hot tub were a hit with the kids as well. Would definitely book again next time we are in the area.
Had a great 4 day stay here. Hot tub was great although could have been a little warmer. Fire pit was awesome and easy to start with a timer, same with indoor fireplace. We were pleased to find a washer and dryer as I don’t think that was listed. This is next to a somewhat busy road but the vibe was still cabin-like. Beds were great and bathrooms and showers were spacious and beautiful. Cabin was decorated beautifully and felt like a home. There were no neighbors on one side and offered privacy. No close neighbors on other side or rear. Would absolutely stay here again.
We were only there for a short while but the accommodations were wonderful. The cabin is beautiful and was very clean. The check-in staff was great and full of information about the area. Two curious bears visited us during our stay which made it much more fun as they came right up to the deck before moving on. One came in the evening of our arrival and another the next morning while we were having coffee on the deck. Will definitely try to stay there again for any subsequent visits to Gatlinburg.

Convenient spot for Gburg and SMNP
The cabin is in a great location for access to downtown Gburg and the NP without being right in the middle of all the crowds. Cabin is appointed with the basics. Check-in requires you to go to a different location along the parkway to sign paper work. Depending on time of day traffic along there is a nightmare so plan ahead!
City Lights had everything we needed to enjoy a winter break getaway for our family of 3.
The property manager was super helpful at check-in and upon arrival the cabin was clean and comfortable. No issues or complaints throughout our 4 night stay, although towel/robe hooks in the bathroom would be helpful.
We'll be back in April and have no doubt that City Lights will provide us with another great stay!
During check in, the Parkside Cabin Rentals employee was kind to offer many tips on what to see and where to eat. The cabin itself was very nice and well maintained. The location was supreme. It was a very busy week in Gatlinburg and we were able to avoid all of the traffic by walking everywhere. There were ladybugs in the second floor bedroom. They are harmless and I've read its a common problem for homes in the area this time of year. But, it was a character building moment for my younger son and people that are insect-phobic would want to know. Still, we would definitely stay at this property again.
Awesome process. Placing reservations to corresponding with staff. Very friendly. Nice. The cabin was even more than expected. Clean. Everything we needed. Except 1 item. No muffin pan for making morning muffins. But we did ok without visited with family that stayed at other properties. My cabin was the “hub” for gathering and eating at Momma’s and Granmomma’s. I will book again and highly recommend. Judy Carr. From Alabama.
We traveled to Gatlinburg for a Volleyball tournament and really loved staying in this cabin. We wanted to stay closer to town so we could walk and it was perfect. Easy walk at about 10-12 min to get to the "heart" of town. It was also very convenient to get to the Rocky top sports complex as we didnt have to get in downtown traffic as its right off the bypass and about 9 min drive. The house was very clean and wifi works great. Nice big bathrooms and showers and my daughter enjoyed the hot tub as well. Firepit is also really nice to sit by and easy to use with just turning on the timer. Only thing we needed and didnt have was a hair dryer that most places usually do and we forgot ours but no biggie. Also the VRBO booking had an 11am check out time and when we got the email the day before departure about checking out it was strictly 10a which threw us off a little so pay attention to that! We even got to see a bear just outside the porch! Overall great cabin in a great location. We will def book this cabin again when return Gatlinburg.
The cabin was great! It is very new and everything is set up well for a group to stay there. 2 large bedroom each with there own full bathrooms. The general area is large and the kitchen is nice. The furniture is ample and comfortable and the fire place is a nice touch. The huge porch is great to sit on and look at city and mountains. The hot tub is a bonus for sure. There is also a nice gas fire pit with nice furniture outside. The kids were a little hesitant because we had bears visit a couple times. Not a problem but something to be aware about and do not leave anything in the car. The cabin is great and the location is even better. It is just a short stroll to town or Anakeesta where we spent a lot of time. It is nice not having to fight for traffic or pay for parking. They also gave us parking passes so if we wanted to drive down to the strip the parking was convenient to everything.I would stay here every time in the future. Just a few things to keep in mind:The kitchen has most things that you need but if you need something in particular you might want to check - also no blow dryers. While I enjoy the activity, there is a road that is fairly busy that runs in front of the cabin and the trolley lot is across the street. If you are looking for a middle of the woods feel, it really isn't your place. It is what you give up for the walking to town advantage. As others have said, they should have a hose to refill the hot tub. Again, minor points and should not stop you
