Enjoy family fun and golf in the sun in Johnson Ranch, located in San Tan Valley, southeast of Phoenix, Arizona. Rated as one of the top ten communities in the United States, Johnson Ranch offers a peaceful community with a stunning array of amenities.

Spend time golfing on the par 72 championship golf course, or take the family on a golf date at the Pitch and Putt. Enjoy the winter months on the course in the sun! Take a dip in one of the three community pools and then relax in one of the hot tubs. Shoot some hoops at the basketball courts, a game of tennis and just added pickle ball lineage on the tennis courts, or try your luck at the catch and release trout pond. After all of these activities, drive to the club house and enjoy the Terrace Restaurant for lunch or dinner. No matter what you desire...there is something for everyone at Johnson Ranch.

Your vacation home has two stories: First floor features a half bath, kitchen with an island for entertaining, appliances in the kitchen with an electric range, dishwasher, microwave, and an ice maker in the refrigerator, fully stocked kitchen with dishes, glassware, & small appliances for your cooking pleasure, washer and dryer in the pantry off the kitchen, dining area with a pub table seating up to 8 people, family room with furnishings and a built-in entertainment center with a 40' Sony Bravia Flat Screen TV and DVD player for watching your favorite movies. Enjoy sitting on the patio or in the backyard with a 8 person hot tub for your late night enjoyment under the stars, a gas BBQ grill and cooking utensils for grilling, patio table for dining outside and enjoying your favorite cocktail, a fire pit for those cool Arizona evenings, or play a game of horseshoes in the horseshoe pit.

Second floor features 4 bedrooms with queen size beds, linens, ceiling fans in each bedroom, including a master bedroom, and a full bath. The master bedroom has French door entry with a queen size pillow top bed, night stands with lamps, and private bath with a large glass shower, double his and her sinks and vanity, and a large walk-in closet ladies will love this. The other 3 bedrooms have queen size pillow top beds, nightstands, and walk-in closets. The full bath has tub/shower and sink vanity.

Each floor has separate heat and air controls.

Close to grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Walgreen's, Fitness Center, San Tan Flat Restaurant(a must see), many golf courses and great restaurants. Shopping malls only a short distance away. Check out Allegiant Air for great airfare rates, which fly into Williamsfield Gateway Airport approximately 15 minutes away from the house.

The house was immaculate, we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our hosts were gracious and readily available for any questions we had concerning the area. As avid ATVers, we were so happy to have their input on area trails. Loved having the fresh lemon and oranges that grow in the back yard. The hot tub was an added bonus at the end of the day. Definitely recommend this home.

Grandma's getaway

The house is wonderful! It's warm and inviting. It really was like home away from home. Bedrooms are large with comfy queen beds, the master suite is huge. The backyard is lovely with the hot tub, fruit trees, and landscape. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. It is about 25 minutes from Gateway airport, which was perfect for small town me, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but everything you could need could be found 10 minutes away. Owners are amazing, always helpful and very quick to answer any questions! The pictures posted truly don't do the property justice. It's a clean, spacious home with enough room for 8 easy. I visited over Christmas, temps were lovely in the 60s and 70s. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings!

We had a most wonderful time staying at your beautiful rental house in March of 2012. It's a nice as the photos on-line that were shown to us. Our group of friends enjoyed 4-wheeling the beautiful Arizonia dessert at the time the dessert was coming to life blooming with cacti plants and wild flowers. Your tour guide, Dean, was very knowledgeable of the area mountains trails and other area information. We got to enjoy the nearby 18-hole "The Links" golf course having a wonderful time. Going out for ribs at the Sand Tan Flats was as delicious as you mentioned and would reccomend for all to go early for a fun night. We traveled into the city of Mesa and went to see (wintering in Arizonia) the Branson act "The Duttson Family" four-generation muscial act. We had greats laughs grilling in your back yard, playing horse shoes, relaxing in the hot tub and gathering around a bone-fire enjoying each others stories. It was peaceful sleeping in your new comfy beds. We were amazed by all the your kitchen eminities available for us to use. It really felt like home away from home. Thank you again, we will gladly spread the word to our friends and family to make their next vacation at your Johnson Ranch Vacation home.

A home away from home with all the creature comforts.

This was truly a home away from home. My family was able to relax and enjoy our time here as if we were in our own home. Not only was this home clean and beautiful, it's provisions allowed us to come together as we cooked, ate and had fun. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It is located close to many of the local amenities which made our stay easy. I will definitely look to stay here again when we visit next.

Very comfortable

Very comfortable home away from home. Plenty of room for four guys. It worked out perfectly for our annual golf vacation. Great location and easy to get to. A well stocked kitchen and gas grill are two must haves for our stay and this property has both.

Only pleasant surprises

House was in excellent condition. All beds were INCREDIBLE! The house was well stocked with what one would expect for a comfortable stay. A large comfortable, well maintained back yard. We will definitely consider coming back to stay here again. I would recommend this house to family, friends, or anyone.

Much better than a hotel and oh so nice to go back to at night.

The house was amazing better than even than we could have wished for. The photo's exactly what they showed. The home was spotless and I don't have to recommend the property to any of my family as there were 8 of us there at times and everyone of us would go back. No one wanted to leave. I would however recommend this property to everyone I know. We took advantage of the golf course everyday. We found Walgreens and Fry's really handy. We also visited the Olive Mill. It is a really interesting place. I would have liked to stay longer but I had three people in there 80's and my mom is blind so it was a little much for them. However they did enjoy it. For my final comment, I can not wait to go back.

Disappointed

We visited in Winter 2010/11. The house was spacious with huge beds. The kids enjoyed the track. However, there was a bee infestation in the attic and for several days they could not play outside and we had to make sure they didnt step on any dead bees. The dogs barking at night was non-stop. Also, when we received our deposit we were charged 100 Dollars for installing child locks (which we most certainly would NOT do), breaking a plate (again, whoever did inventory before we arrived was not very efficient), and leaving excess CRUMBS. In other words, make sure you really clean before the cleani g people or you will be charged for extra time. Also note, this is far far out of the valley if you want to visit the Phoenix area. My family did enjoy a very unique outdoor grill called San Tan Flats-not to be missed. Wish we had gone there sooner!

My husband and I live in Minnesota. We have been vacationing in Arizona for many years, years ago we came upon the area of San Tan Valley and Johnson Ranch and liked it so well this is where we come in the winter. We have rented many vacation homes in the past years of vacationing, so when we purchased this property for a vacation rental we tried to put all our years of experience into making our home pleasant and comfortable for our guests. We enjoy golfing, hiking, biking, and ATV trips out in the dessert and just relaxing in our yard with friends and a beer.

What makes this property unique

Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Enjoying hot tubbing, a fire in the fire pit and roasting hotdogs. Enjoying the warm weather and starlit nights in Arizona away from the cold. Picking fresh oranges and grapefruit from the fruit trees in our backyard.
