We loved this cute home with the gorgeous views in the gorge. It was the perfect place for our wedding party to get ready in as the venue was right down the road. The rooms were spacious and the decor was inviting. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area and it’s available. Thank you so much!!
It was a great location, the view on the back deck is beautiful. Love watching the boats, barges and trains. Lots to do. Great communication with the property manager/owner. Would stay here again.
This place was perfect. It was cozy, so close to Cascade Locks, and for me personally a bright and airy place to have my bridesmaids meet with me before I got married down the road. The AC was powerful on a 99 degree day as well, which was amazing. I’d I have one “complaint” it’s that you need to keep your doors open for the AC to circulate, but I think that might be less of an issue if you’re not staying during a ridiculous heat wave.Again, adorable, cute, central to so much. A great stay.
Such a lovely stay for my family on a glorious weekend! Plenty of space, AMAZING hosts, and location to boot! Has everything and more. Check out thunder island brewery, some of the best food EVER! Thanks for the great memories!

Gorgeous views. Awesome patio with furniture, patio lights and grill. Excellent communication and superb host. Well stocked kitchen made cooking and baking so fun. Queen beds were very comfortable and each bedroom was spacious. The dining table was large and roomy for our family get together with meals and family games. I look forward to staying here again!
Owners and Property are Great. VRBO software and support are horrible.

Not Stunning but Average
Stunning 3BR Gorge Home but the word "stunning" is an over statement. It is a nice clean home but not stunning. The house sits just off the main street and has traffic noise all day and night. The upper level is actually street level and the lower level is the basement with concrete floors and some throw rugs. The upper and lower bathrooms are very compact. The bath room door on the upper level would stick when fully closed and would make a horrible loud noise when opened. The kitchen, living room and patio areas and the view are all nice. Especially the operating railroad tracks just behind the house but not to worry the owner has left ear plugs for anyone needing them. After our first nights rest we discovered that half of the bed slats on one side of the bed were off track and had to remove the mattress set and reassemble the bed on the upper floor. Would have thought that should have been noticed when cleaning. Trash and recycle totes were full and in the street when we arrived (notified owner). Brought them in from the street at owners request on our last day so we could throw our garbage in the already full receptacles. This is just a heads up, we were on a long driving vacation and we only spent two nights so we made due with what we had but sorry would not stay again.
We loved being able to walk to my nieces wedding at the Marine Park Pavilion! We loved the amazing views out of every window. We enjoyed coffee outside our bedroom and watching the trains go by. Very comfortable!
This is a gem of a place! There is plenty of room to spread out, and everything you need has been thought of and provided. Beds are comfortable with soft linens. Great communication from hosts, and they graciously and eagerly accommodated requests. A grocery store is right down the street, as are a couple breweries and dining options. Parking is simple and available right at the property. The view..it's amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay. This will be our first choice the next time we're in town.
We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The placement and views were great, it was fun to watch the river traffic. We loved all the birds that we saw. The house was charming, and I don’t know I’ve ever stayed in a place with a better stocked kitchen.
This place has it all! My son, dad, spouse, and I stayed here, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house is well-stocked and very comfortable. Parking was easy. The patio was delightful to sit on and watch the view of the Columbia!
Our family of three (myself, husband and daughter) spend a few days here during the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was perfect for the occasion. We prepared our feast here - the kitchen was perfectly equipped for it and the dining area was more than ample to enjoy it!
It's conveniently located so that we were able to take a long walk near the beautiful Marine Park area. And we enjoyed the nearby restaurants and coffee shops in Cascade Locks.
We'd recommend a nice, cozy duvet for the beds, as it was quite cold out during our stay. But other than that, the owners and the home itself were 5 STARS+
Beautiful remodeled older home close to restaurants, coffee shop, and wedding venue. 2 living room areas to spread out in and nice kitchen and dining with plenty of room and cooking supplies.

Why they chose this property
This property is without a doubt the most unique home in Cascade Locks. It's a historic home, but with the amenities of a newer build. It's on a beautiful large lot with a nice sized yard, but still just two blocks from downtown.
