Our hostess was wonderful! She checked in with us, and gave us a wonderful recommendation for kayaking. The cabin was cute and cozy, and was perfect for a couple days to get out and explore Old Forge.

We were very pleased with our stay. It met our needs for our stay in the Adirondacks. We come up yearly and will be checking availability for the cabin when we do.

This place felt more like a motel room than a cabin, but it was bigger and quieter than a typical motel room. We didn’t try cooking anything in the kitchen space or even making coffee, so we can’t rate those amenities. Although there’s not much to do within walking distance, the cabin served as a clean, comfortable home base for our time in the Old Forge area. We would stay there again.

The cabins are spotless and provided everything we needed for our stay; plenty of towels, pots and pans, and comfortable beds. The store next door has a wide variety of freshly made baked goods and premade meals. And, the property is very quiet and relaxing.
