The stay here was great. Clean, great view and Amenities. Will stay again in the future when in the area. Plenty of space and everythung you need for a great stay.
Great cabin in a great location. It could stand to be cleaned more thoroughly in general, and the kitchen is not super well stocked (no strainer or measuring cups, no baking pans, and not a single cooking spoon that wasn’t slotted). That said, when we had an issue with the hot tub, they came out first thing the next morning to fix it. Despite the minor limitations, we all agree we would stay here again.

The property was everything advertised. The cabin was beautiful and well stocked and the location was convenient to Natural Bridge State Park and many other hiking trails. Our family enjoyed the stay and would love to stay here again.

Great cabin for the family. The cabin offered us a great base to go off on some hikes, kayak adventures, picnics, etc. and some evening college football games.

Great view & all the necessary accommodations for a relaxing getaway. Great location for nearby Natural Bridge, Gorge Underground & several restaurants. We would stay again.
Our stay in the bobcat cabin was pretty good. Beautiful views and cabin was perfect size wise. There were a little imperfections, and cabin was not the cleanest but otherwise everything was good and we had a great weekend

Thank you for your feedback. We have addressed the issue that you previously stated. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
The property was beautiful. Plenty of space inside and outside. There was a fully stocked and functional kitchen. Two large bathrooms and a large living room complete with fireplace and TV. We enjoyed Natural Bridge with its hiking, sky lift and surrounding beauty. We also did a boat tour at Red River Gorge. A great place to enjoy and reset.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your feedback. It helps us make sure all our guests have a comfortable and worry-free stay.
This cabin suited the needs of four adults and two teenagers. We wanted to do a lot of hiking in the Red River Gorge and this location was a great home base. Beds were comfortable (except the loft-nook). Adequate selection of dishes and cookware. Spent a lot of time enjoying the beautiful view from the deck and fire pit area. The owner was great with responding to questions about the cabin/area! The cabin could have been a little cleaner and the not all the buttons worked on the dishwasher and microwave. Overall - would gladly stay here again!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We’re thrilled to hear the cabin provided a comfortable home base for your group and that you enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck and fire pit area – there’s nothing quite like the scenery here, especially after a day of hiking in the Gorge!
We’re glad to know the beds were comfortable and that the dishes and cookware met your needs. We appreciate your feedback about cleanliness and the dishwasher and microwave controls. We’ll ensure our team addresses these areas to improve the experience for future guests.
It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’re so happy to hear you’d gladly stay with us again. We’d love to welcome you back on your next visit to Red River Gorge!
My friends and I had a great stay! There were plenty of dishes and cookware for our group, and we made good use of the hot tub, grill, and fire pit. The location was excellent—private, wooded setting compared to other cabins in the area. 5 min to kayaking, 10 minutes to restaurants, and 20 min from several trails at the gorge. Enjoyed starting each day with coffee on the deck each morning. Loved that it was pet friendly too. The pillows are a bit old and flat, so next time I’ll bring my own, and the comforters are a bit stained, but otherwise my stay was perfect!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the feedback. We hope to see you again.
This cabin was great for a family visit and in the heart of RRG. It's mostly private and surrounded on three sides by woods. Some of the kitchenware is pretty worn and should be replaced, and I'd recommend brining your own salt/pepper as there wasn't much to use when we arrived. The rental company also doesn't provide paper towels. If you plan to use the hot tub, bring extra towels as well.
Bobcat Lodge is a lovely cozy cabin surrounded in trees so you do have privacy. The hot tub was nice and was used daily. Checking in next to the Daniel Boone coffee shop was very easy and we found the cabin no problem. Communicating with the property management was easy and they were prompt to respond. The only drawback was the cabin needs a thorough deep cleaning and the kitchen is missing some common items like a collander and hand mixer. Making mashed potatoes and frosting was a fun challenge. :) That being said, we would stay again. The area is beautiful and I bet gorgeous in summer and fall.

Thank you for such a great review and we are so happy you enjoyed your stay.
It was a beautiful scenic cabin on the ridge! We had a variety of weather and the cabin kept us warm and cozy while still allowing beautiful views to be enjoyed. The kids loved playing foosball in the upstairs loft area. The cabin is very pet friendly. Staff notified us ahead of time that the oven was broken and they are awaiting a part to get it repaired. They were very accommodating and offered us a different cabin. WiFi worked great. Mattresses on the larger beds were a bit uncomfortable. Next time I will bring memory foam toppers from home. Had a fire in the fire pit and loved being out in the forest.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope to see you again.
The Bobcat Lodge was a great place for my family of four to rendezvous with my parents. The cabin fit our party of 6 quite comfortably. I'd gladly stay here again. All beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishware and higher quality cookware. The hot tub was actually hot and clean. The view out the back deck across the valley was wonderful.
There are plenty of nature activities in the area, and the Bobcat Lodge is right next to the Natural Bridge State Park and the Red River Gorge Geological Area. The lady in the Slade Visitors Center will be happy to tell you about all your options.
Note: check if the area restaurants will be open on the days you're there. I was surprised to find not many eating options open on Monday and Tuesday.

Thank you for the kind feedback! We love that your enjoyed your stay with us. We wish there were more restaurants open on Monday and Tuesday too! From our understanding short-staffing is an issue for most of them. We hope that you come back and stay with us again!
This was a nice cabin however it could use some updates. 1) The entryway doors were dented badly making it uninviting. Doors are not that expensive to replace for a rental to give a warmer, inviting feeling. 2) PLUMBING was worrisome as every flush you did not know if it would get backed up. Upstair shower did not drain good 3) Check in process, was ok but would prefer a keypad entry 4) Better directions could have been provided.
Other than these few concerns, the cabin location is great!

Absolutely gorgeous property! Nothing really worth mentioning on complaints. I would highly recommended... and yes the have full kitchen gear, and people have left behind spices, dish soap, hand soap. Basically the place is stocked. I didn't knoe what to expect for shopping and what not, but there are plenty of stores, coffee, gas station, tourist activities, hiking, etc. All within 20 minutes
The cabin was amazing. The rooms and furnishings were perfect for our family.
The location was super easy access to Underground, Natural Bridge, RRG trails and also some fantastic restaurants- Redpoint BBQ and Hops
