This house is located south of the hustle and bustle of Door County, but close enough for day trips anywhere on the peninsula. Added bonus: there is a restaurant a block away with a great view of the West sky.
We loved staying here and would recommend to anyone interested! Perfect place for two couples. Plenty of space. Kitchen was fully stocked. Everything was exactly as described. Easy to access and use. AND GORGEOUS VIEW!!
We had a wonderful few days in Little Sturgeon Bay. The hosts were wonderful and also run a restaurant/bar that's a short walk from the property. We'll be back!
We had a perfect stay during our late fall visit. Our host kept us informed along the way and was very responsive. The home had everything we needed to enjoy the fall colors and the beautiful view of the bay.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here!! Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The area was very peaceful and still close enough to Sturgeon Bay to enjoy all the great activities! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice trip to the Bay!
We loved our stay. The property is right on the lake, so we had the pleasure of watching the sunset everyday. We also loved that large groups of white pelicans flew in and stayed on the nearby water every night, which is quite a sight to see.
Our stay was wonderful. The view was wonderful, sunrises, sunsets, and the bay. We enjoyed the accommodations, everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 with college-aged kids, everyone had their own space. We explored Sturgeon Bay, Sister Bay, etc. Would definitely stay again.
Can not rave enough about this property or the host enough. Arrival was smooth, amenities were wonderful (including the little things that we didn’t even think of like ice), views were breathtaking. My sisters and I travel with our 87 year old mother once a year. This will definitely be our go to place! Thank you Brenda!
The property was on Green Bay with an awsome view.
Used the house as base camp to explore Door county.
Had a excellent fish fry on Friday at the" Sunset on Rileys point."
Overall a very pleasant stay.
Peaceful Island View Retreat - A Hidden Gem!Our stay at the Waterfront Island View Retreat on Rileys Point was everything we hoped for and more. The home is tucked away in a quiet, serene part of Southern Door County and offers absolutely stunning water views - the kind you just want to sit and soak in all day. We spent plenty of time out there and loved the firepit at night. The location was peaceful, but still close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer - wineries, charming towns, parks, and great restaurants. Our host was warm, responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. This place truly feels like a secret getaway - we can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful location that is convenient to all that Door county has to offer. My spouse and I stayed celebrating my 50th birthday. Neighborhood was great. Home was easy to find and get to, and is just as it was described in the listing. Overall, great experience. If there was anything to nitpick, it was that we got the check in information fairly close to check-in, so we’d left home before knowing we’d be able to get in. We obviously did get the information and the place was great. Recommend!
Wonderful place to spend a week. Loved waking up to a panoramic water view each morning. Especially loved the sunrises, sunsets and Northern lights at the house and around the Door Co peninsula. Very clean, well equipped homey house. Did the PO fish boil, boat rides, Johnson's restaurant, Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay, Peninsula Theater and Wilson's ice cream. Most fun was exploring little out of way places along both shores to watch waves. Thanks Brenda and Chris for your hospitality and our thoughtful beautiful 50th Ann. floral arrangement.

It was a pleasure hosting Bob and Joan for their 50th wedding anniversary. We hope to see them again!
The owners were very accommodating & helpful, as they live near by. The rooms are clean & offers a great view of the bay. In season, check out the local restaurant Sunset on Reilly’s Point. You can walk there. We really enjoyed our stay!
My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend here for a quick getaway during peak leaf season. Check in/out was a breeze and the house was tidy and exactly as described. When we weren’t exploring Potawatomi state park or Sturgeon Bay, we were mesmerized by the amazing view of the bay out the back windows. Just breathtaking! Bring binoculars to fully enjoy watching the birds and boaters.
We had a last minute vacation change and decided to try out Little Sturgeon. It is a lovely home that has a lot of space to be together or take break. It is conveniently located close to a beach and has amazing sunrises and sunsets. We were able to relax, take day trips into other Door County Towns to explore. Brenda was amazing to work with. We especially like the Kayak and paddle board rental for a quick and easy adventure. We will be back.
Just what we wanted, a quiet "up north" cabin on the lake. Cannot beat the views and the sunsets. Kitchen, LR, 2 BR's & Bath are all updated & comfortable. Newer appliances and a super gas grill outside. Quiet bay neighborhood away from the more crowded tourist areas, but easy driving to the Door County activities. We enjoyed cherry-picking, kayaking, wine & cider tasting along with the pelicans and active bird house on the lakeside.
