My husband and I stayed here for our 45th anniversary and it couldn't have been better. The cottage had everything we needed and then some. It's beautifully decorated and the view is spectacular. The hosts attention to detail is phenomenal. The location is great! It's close to everything Door County has to offer without all the hustle and bustle. We really enjoyed listening to the old albums on the turntable and the fun welcome basket filled with local treats. Thank you Tom and Polly for sharing this gem with us. We hope to be back soon!

Everything about the house was just wonderful! Easy to find, comfortable beds, big kitchen and the sunsets were spectacular! Nice to come back "home" after a long day of hiking and enjoying Door County.

Quiet Weekend

We just spent 3 nights at this lovely A-Frame. The view from the cabin is spectacular. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was nice and clean. The firepit and swing are a real treat to watch the sunset from. Having WiFi would have been nice as we had a work emergency and had to go to a coffee shop in town as ATT's coverage in the area is terrible.

It’s the View!!!!

This A frame is a beautiful 70’s time capsule with the most ridiculously amazing view of Green Bay’s sunsets. We loved he Hi-Fi nook with an amazing collection of vinyl and CDs. Every night was a spectacular 2 1/2 hour show of music and nature. Highly recommend this spot for the most relaxing trip and all Door County had to offer was just minutes away.

Honeymoon stay

This was an amazing experience , when we arrived the view was just amazing overlooking the water , we went on the dock and just looked around taking in the area. We walked by the fire pit area which had been set up in a tipi type set up, it was so cute and thoughtful. We loved how comfy the beds were and how cute the a frame was furnished. It felt like a home immediately. This was the best place we could have hoped to stay at and we feel so lucky we could get to have this experience. We’re so happy you shared the a frame with everyone to enjoy. Thank you for all you did to it to make it so comfy and we appreciated how everything we could have needed was there, lighters, wood, flashlights, bikes ect.. it was perfect. We will have to return for an anniversary!

Great Stay

Wow! As we drove into the driveway we knew this was about to be an amazing stay. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the property is clean, and the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and is was absolutely perfect. Each evening after exploring the different parts of Door County we listened to old vinyls, had drinks outside while watched the sunset, and enjoyed a fire by the fire pit looking at stars and watching the boats on the water. Couldn’t ask for anything else. The house had everything we needed and more. Bikes, kayaks, row boats, fishing polls, charcoal grill, firewood and more. The location of this property is great for those who don’t want to be amongst the busy hustle bustle of Door County. It’s close enough to nearby towns, shops, and numerous state parks but is tucked away in a quiet area. I would also like to mention that the king bed upstairs was SO comfortable, we slept great every night. I highly recommend this property and would love to return the next time we visit Door County!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Was the perfect place to stay along Green Bay for our family of 4. Owners are quick to respond and worked quickly with us when we had to adjust our arrival date. Cabin is an easy 10-15 min drive into Sturgeon Bay. Had great sunset views, kayaks that we took into the nearby bay, and all the amenities needed for the stay. Kids asked if we could come back again someday.

Our stay at the A-Frame on the Bay was fantastic!My wife and two young daughters had a great time at the cottage and we cannot wait to come back. As frequent visitors to Door County, we often stay in different spots along the bay side, and we can say with confidence this was the most beautiful location we have ever stayed at. The cottage is as picturesque as it looks and to be fair the photos online don't do it justice. Polly and Tom have really thought of pretty much everything when it comes to your stay. That includes life jackets and a grill with charcoal, to fishing poles and beach chairs for folks to use and share. The views were beautiful, my young (6 and 7 year old) daughters loved the water and cliffs. We even caught a small smallmouth off the pier! Tom and Polly were responsive and communicable when needed and our stay was lovely. While not an issue, there is no Wi-Fi at the house. So for everyone that is perpetually plugged in like me, you'll need to prepare accordingly. (I was able to read an entire book this weekend instead!)Everything was great, if we get the chance to stay again when we come back we certainly will!

The A frame was a quiet picturesque spot for a getaway. It is conveniently located in Sturgeon Bay and is a short drive to beautiful spots farther north up the peninsula. The view and fudge is outstanding!

The Coziest Getaway

We had the most incredible stay here in the fall! The A-frame was straight out of a movie set, adorned with the most perfect details making it feel like our home away from home (but better). The place was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. We loved having the records playing at all times of day whether we were enjoying our coffee or wine! Charming retreat

I’ve always loved an A-frame and this one was a perfectly decorated mid century modern home. So much nostalgia. The location was perfect and the view was stunning. We were able to visit each town on the peninsula knowing we had this great home to return to at the end of the day.

Water and sunsets

Beautiful secluded spot on the bay. Easy travel to the beautiful Door County fall leaves. A gift of nature was the daylong blustering wind, watching the waves come on shore and the gulls soar and dive. Then the fire of an October sunset! Awesome…
