This adorable Bert Anderson cabin has been reborn as The Chalet 300. Authentic pine with all the luxuries of tiny home living, and just a short walk to Sunnyside and Lake Tahoe, this cabin nestled in the woods exudes the ultimate in a mountain lifestyle visit.

Completely renovated, this one bedroom, 1 bath has all new appliances in the renovated kitchen, all new bath, eclectic living space, and inviting bedroom. Large windows look out towards the pines and the spacious wrap around deck.

Just a short walk to Lake Tahoe's magical West Shore, the Chalet is close several ski resorts including Homewood, Palisades Tahoe (Squaw & Alpine), as well as several cross country & snowshoe destinations. From kayaking, hiking, biking, boating, SUP in the summer to skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing & snowshoeing in the winter, Tahoe is a adventure hub, plus a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the crystal blue of Lake Tahoe. Close to several restaurants, shopping, and events in Tahoe City.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn heat to 55 degrees Turn OFF gas fireplace with remote
Close all windows and blinds
Reconnect bear deterrent system & turn on
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
- Quiet time 9pm-8am (fines for any noise after that time due to Placer County regulations) - No open flames; grill only when not RED FLAG day
- No pets; no exceptions. House is not suitable to service dogs due to steep ladder-like stairs. - No smoking on the property (inside or out)
- Guests must be physically fit to navigate steep ladder-like stairs. Suggest luggage is small or left downstairs. No children due to the stairs.

Easy access to Palisades, Tahoe City, and walk to Sunnyside resort. Awesome rustic cabin with the modern amenities and the owner/host was very attentive.

The Chalet 300 Was Wonderful!

We had an amazing weekend at this cozy little cabin on the west shore! Quiet and clean, just the perfect getaway for us. Cabin was absolutely perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed staying and would highly recommend for anyone looking to relax for a weekend or longer...was simply wonderful!

Quaint cabin in Tahoe City

This was the cutest little cabin I’ve ever stayed in. It was perfect for my spouse and I. You can absolutely stay in if you’d like, but it’s also located perfectly for a bike to Lake Tahoe, a day trip to Truckee or Virginia City. Also, our host was great. She stayed in contact throughout our stay, and provided a book full of recommendations on things to do. I would definitely recommend.
