Welcome to your serene lakeside escape! This charming ground-floor condo at St. Francis Lakeside offers the perfect blend of convenience and mountain comfort. Designed with an open-concept layout, the kitchen, dining, and living areas flow seamlessly together, creating an inviting space for family gatherings or entertaining friends.

The Space:
Living Area: Relax by the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace during crisp Tahoe winters, or step out onto the private patio in the summer to soak up the fresh mountain air.

Kitchen: Fully equipped for all your culinary needs—perfect for whipping up a hearty breakfast before hitting the trails.

Bedrooms: Primary Suite: Features a comfortable Queen bed and a spacious private en-suite bathroom.

Guest Bedrooms: Two additional bedrooms, each featuring two Twin beds (one room specifically offers a Twin-over-Queen bunk configuration), sharing a convenient hallway bathroom.

Lakeside Amenities: Step outside to enjoy a private deck in the summer or take advantage of the incredible community features: a private beach, pier, swimming pool, hot tub, tennis/volleyball courts, and a clubhouse.

Winter Bonus: Stay warm with access to the large indoor spa, open throughout the winter months.

Prime Location: You’re just minutes from Tahoe City’s dining and shopping, and a short drive to world-class skiing at Palisades Tahoe (Squaw Valley), Alpine Meadows, and Homewood. Parking is limited at this complex. This unit is located just off Lake Forest Rd. There is a gravel parking pad in front of the unit. You do not enter either of the 2 entrances to the complex. NO BBQ

For your convenience, this rental includes a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer. We provide all linens and bath towels; most rentals have beach towels for your trips to the lake. Please note that while Tahoe’s mountain breeze and provided fans keep the home comfortable, there is no central A/C. To protect local wildlife, we do not stock pantry staples.

The apartment size and the location were great! We were frustrated by the lack of supplies and lack of instructions about the tv (after several attempts to reach property management). We were unable to use the hot tub and swimming pool which were closed.

Great price. Location is ideal for skiing Palisades. Only one parking place for a 3br. Comfortable beds. Very clean property except for a handful of dirty glassware and dishes. Nice hidden view of the Lake

This rental was big enough for all five of us, and cozy. It has all the amenities. It was also close to the marina. The check in/ out instructions were very clear too. It was a perfect rental for the weekend.

Great location

The location was terrific, very near a nice small public beach and convenient to many hiking and lake destinations. The unit was roomy, clean and comfortable. Our only issue was with the beds in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Of those four single beds, only one had a topper. The other three were VERY hard.

It was clean and neat. The master bathroom had a tight shower that a large person may not fit into... it was not a problem for us but could be. Appliances are old but work. I would have preferred the cooking utensils placed in a lined draw rather than just thrown into an old wooden draw, it made cooking unappealing. Mostly the beds need upgrading and it would be a much better unit that I would return to.

The location was great for our stay in Tahoe City. Not a lot of traffic, and close the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the private dock to view the sunset, the stars and to admire the surroundings. We enjoyed swimming in the lake with the convenience of being close to the condo. The pool was nice with lots of chairs around for those wanting to watch. We enjoyed the deck at the condo as well.

I certainly enjoyed the scenary and how pleasantly clean the environment was. I loved the coziness and the overall quality of each individual room. The only issue that I found annoying was the massive amount of pests that were present. Overall, it was astonishingly good.

Excellent stay by Lake Tahoe

Highly recommend this spot - as others have pointed out, decor is outdated and beds are a little less comfortable than could be hoped, but the apartment is very large and well-equipped (kitchen had an abundance of utensils and spices, there were towels for pool, etc). The location is fantastic, with super easy access to the lake and a pleasant 30 min walk into Tahoe City. Also close to the Tahoe bus system which is free and helps avoid the need to park. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and at the large dining table for games. The amenities in the complex were also excellent.

Out of the smoke

We changed plans last minute to get further away from smoke due to fires near Yosemite and ended up in Tahoe. Property managers were very responsive. The condo is spacious, clean and the complex is on the lake. It hasn't been updated since the 70's but it was in a good location, comfortable and affordable.
