Beautiful 3-family house "Chalet Mittelhorn". In the district of Wychel, 1.2 km from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position, south facing position. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). In Winter: please take snow chains. Stepped path to the house. Single garage. Grocery 1.3 km, shopping centre 1.3 km, restaurant 1.3 km, bar 1.3 km, bakery 1.5 km, bicycle rental 1.3 km, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Salzmannsegg" 500 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 1.1 km, outdoor swimming pool 2.3 km, indoor swimming pool 1.3 km. Golf course (9 hole) 3.6 km, tennis 3 km, minigolf 1.7 km, sports centre 1.3 km, mountain railway, gondola lift, ski rental 400 m, ski bus stop 500 m, cross country ski track 2.5 km, ice rink 1.3 km, children's playground 1.3 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thuner-/Brienzersee 18 km. Please note: car recommended, no lift. Ski bus (free of charge). Beautiful

Spent 6 days in Grindelwald exploring the mountains and valley. Great views of the Eiger and valley. Stocked with needed elements of soaps, coffee and other amenities. Close to bus line if traveling without car.

Stay of a Lifetime!

With unparalleled views of the Eiger, this place was the stay of a lifetime. Very close to the terminal for the Eiger Express gondola. A bit tricky to find the first time but no problems after that.

A great Chalet just a short walk from Grindelwald centre with a magnificent view of the Eiger. A couple of small criticisms: The bed in the main bedroom was very hard and there were too few pillows. We also found the television very complicated and failed to get it to work during our stay.

Just perfect

We stayed in this wonderful home recently with friends and loved it. The views from our bedroom and from the first floor veranda was breathtaking. The neighborhood is quiet and serene, even though it was a very short drive into town. Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and plenty of room for us to hang out together. There are 2 full bathrooms but one is on the first floor and not with the bedrooms upstairs. Overall we highly recommend staying in this home!

good, could be better

nice apartment. some things good be better. -The matrasses are old and half of us woke up with back pain. The sleeping sofa in the living room is old and bad quality. -Warm water comes from a boiler, and is not suffient for 5 people to shower in the morning. reheating takes way too long. -Getting to the bus is a steep walk and takes 7-10 minutes. -only one prepaid garbage bag is provided. Just enough toilet paper. -key pickup is far away +beautiful view +well equiped kitchen and wassing area.
