"The Red Sand" Beachfront Luxury Condo-Long Point

Although, Long Point is known for it's gorgeous beaches; our Condo is perfect all year. This condo is located in The Long Point Beach Club. It is warm and cozy and feels like home. Enjoy the roominess of our upper floor condo, with 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch in the comfortable living room that has expansive views of beautiful Lake Erie on our large balcony. The principal bedroom has a king bed, an ensuite and a gorgeous view. The second bedroom is small, but cozy with a queen bed. It is perfect for the kids.

It includes a chef's kitchen with a large dining area, huge island and beautiful view. Enjoy the barbeque on the beautiful roof top deck or back patio, while staying warm by the fire pit.

A spacious patio is connected to principal bedroom and the living room with private views of the lake and sunsets, so you can enjoy the outside, even when cuddled up in the warm bed or on the comfy couch by the fireplace.

We have a WASHER and DRYER in the condo for your convenience.

High speed WiFi and satellite T.V. are included, so this is the perfect place to "work from home". We have Netflix and Amazon Prime, so you can binge your favourite show, when you do not want to enjoy the outside. In addition to the television in the living room, the principal bedroom also has a flat screen T.V.

Although you have a private beach with the warmer Lake Erie waters, if you want to access the public beach, it is less than a kilometre away and Long Point Provincial Park is a quick drive away, so the perfect launching pad for a stay to enjoy all the area has to offer. You can enjoy Long Point's beautiful red sand.

This is paradise for bird watchers as the Long Point Bird Observatory is just minutes away. The stately swans are waiting to model for you, and a boat tour will show you all of the local beauty.

This is the area where people who love fishing will catch the "big one"! The fish are waiting for you. For boaters, the marina is just steps away with access from a gate for guests.

Enjoy the local wineries, shops and restaurants of Port Rowan, and finish it off with some delicious ice cream from one of our local shops.

For the adventure seekers, there are Long Point Eco Adventures, kayaking, boat trips and cross country skiing.

Winters are gorgeous in Long Point. Beautiful ice shelves, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, skating, ice fishing and even horse sleigh rides. it is truly a magical time in Long Point.

For the golfer in the family, the golf course is less than 10 minutes away.

Cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us, we follow a five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on a short term rental cleanliness handbook that was developed in partnership with experts.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

This is a SECOND FLOOR unit. There is NO elevator in the building. You will be required to climb stairs to access our condo. But, the view is worth it!

Both showers require a step over to get out. One is a bathtub shower and one is a stand alone raised shower.

As this is our "home away from home", we may ask for some details about your group's plans to ensure that this is a good fit for you, us and our neighbours. Parties are strictly prohibited.

Although, we sleep 5, it is most comfortable with no more than 4 adults.

This is not a serviced building, so we do not have staff onsite. So, please ensure that you clean up after using the BBQs, beach and patios.

There is one parking spot available per unit. There is free street parking on Erie Blvd. Boats and trailers are strictly prohibited from being parked in the parking lot.

The water is filtered and safe to drink, however, it sometimes has iron in it, which can cause a slight taste. It may be slightly discoloured, which can be seen in the toilet sometimes. Please also be aware that if you use the washing machine, the water can sometimes leave a rust colour on whites, due to the iron in the water.

Lake Erie can be unpredictable, so please exercise caution when entering and swimming in the lake, as the waves can bring in sticks, rocks and debris. At our beach, it is rocky entering the water, but about 8 feet out, it has a sandy bottom. Long Point Provincial Park has a sandy entry.

Smoking of any kind is prohibited by our guests within 10 feet of any doors or windows. Despite this, this is not a non-smoking property, so you may smell smoke in the common areas.

Although, we would love to host pets, our family has severe allergies, therefore pets are not allowed. If a guest brings in a pet, they will be asked to leave without a refund and will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

Please note that lost keys will result in a charge of $40.00. Please ensure that they are returned upon checkout.

There is a camera that overlooks part of the parking lot.

We have a sister unit in the building on the main floor. It is called the Purple Finch Condo and is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit. You are welcome to use both units for a multi-family getaway.
