Ocean View Villa in Santa Teresa, Casa Bribri

Casa Bri Bri's breathtaking view combined with its proximity to the surf is unmatched! The home is located in the quieter Northern part of Santa Teresa, so you get convenience with out sacrificing privacy and tranquility. Don't worry, there is a cafe and sunset beach bar just a walk away and a full concierge. The open air living and kitchen areas are perfect for a big group. Private balconies off of each master bedroom and a shared upper deck seating area provides something for everyone. Casa Bri Bri is one of two thoughtfully constructed villas on the Joya Villas property. They are sustainable, contemporary, luxury villas in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, designed by award-winning architect Benjamin Garcia. Built by local carpenters and landscapers, we ensured the villas were built on a foundation of environmentally sustainable practices. Casa Bri-Bri was designed with both privacy and nature in mind and the space allows you to be inside while you enjoy the lush greenery Costa Rica has to offer. Bri Bri is comprised of four master bedrooms, each with a king sized bed. Two of the masters have Spa style ensuite bathrooms, while the other two have their own private half ensuite and share a magnificent full sized bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Each room has a magnificent ocean view so you can wake up to the sunrise and sound of monkeys before walking down to the surf. Come home to enjoy a hot shower or bath in your private en-suite bathroom or head out to the saltwater infinity pool with an ocean view for a refreshing dip. There are plenty of areas to soak up the sunshine and other areas to escape the hot Costa Rican sun and relax in the shade. The kitchen opens up to the pool area so your group can be together while experiencing different parts of the home. My favorite area of the home is upstairs in the seating area overlooking the ocean. It provides the perfect escape for someone looking for a little quiet time with a book and a view. Or, feel free to settle into some yoga on your private deck. Yoga mats provided! At night, you can choose to close the doors to the deck and pool area so you can settle into a hangout on the couch or around the large kitchen table. You will have the whole space to yourself and be able to access every room on the property. We have a full time property manager who will be onsite to assist with anything you may need during the length of your stay. We want you to enjoy complete luxury from the moment you arrive at the villa. Casa Bri-Bri comes with a full time cleaning staff, a security guard after 5pm, and a maintenance man who will be around daily to assist with anything you need. We have a full concierge to help you book anything during your stay. Guests have particularly enjoyed surf lessons, our private chefs, horseback riding, zip-lining, and massages at the house.

Gorgeous views. Super kid friendly area with a convenient restaurant at the bottom of the hill for breakfast in the mornings. Walk to the beach and another restaurant there amazing property manager with great communication.

Fun with Family at Casa Bribri

My 4 young adult kids (ages ranging from 28 - 35) and I spent four nights at Casa Bribri between Christmas and New Years. The house manager, Andrea, found a rental car and 2 four-wheelers for us at the very last minute, sped up the check-in process for those in our party that arrived early, stocked the frig as requested, set up a surf lesson and provided good recommendations for bars and restaurants. She was very helpful and a good communicator!! The housekeepers were also amazing. They were so kind, took very good care of Casa Bribri and us, and I was very grateful for them. The ocean view from Casa Bribri is incredible, and there was certainly plenty of room for our party of 5. The kids surfed a lot and spent a lot of time in the pool. We had a big dinner party (15 people) at the house and managed to get everyone around the dining room table. I am hesitant to make any negative comments because we did enjoy our stay, however, I wished that I had understood that the house is - with the exception of the bedrooms - completely open to the outside. Even the showers and sinks in the two ensuites and in the shared bathroom are open air. This, or course, means that there is no air-conditioning except in the bedrooms, and it was really hot and humid during our stay. "Two minutes from the surf" is not really accurate although the beach is accessible across the main road and down a side street. The floors throughout the house need to be refinished and are slippery.

We had the best time here! Spacious common areas, immaculate bedrooms with AC, amazing pool, wonderful property manager and a terrific daily cleaning staff. Hands down, the best vacation home our family has ever stayed in.

Look no further

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Casa Bri Bri for another week and we were continuously blown away by the beauty of the property and the service we received from the team and property manager. The property is located in the best spot in Santa Teresa and is an excellent access point to everywhere in the area. When we come back to Santa Teresa we will plan on staying no where else, as we had a wonderful vacation and experience at Casa Bri Bri. This property is very safe and we always had the piece of mind that we were secure. Words can not express the gratitude we have for the opportunity to stay in such a magical place.

Perfect house for large group

Fantastic house for a large group. We enjoyed a week at the property with three generations. The layout provides personal space when needed and plenty of communal space to spend time together. We'll be back!

Best place to stay in Santa Teresa

Look no further because Casa Bri Bri is quite possibly the best place to stay in Santa Teresa. Steve, Jose and the crew are absolutely wonderful and took very good care of us. We felt very welcomed and safe at this property. Not only is the house located in an excellent location, the views are spectacular and the house is very well kept. If you are looking to surf Santa Teresa beach or even Playa Hermosa this is the place. You can very easily walk to the beach and enjoy. There are also a few very good restaurants in walking distance from the Casa. We can not wait until we can come back and we will definitely plan on staying again.

First class experience in the jungle.

Wow!! What an incredible house and location. Totally private with views of the ocean and sunsets. Aside from the pool and tropical gardens my favorite thing was to slide into the most comfortable bed and sheets I’ve slept in. From the initial greeting to the farewell our concierge Jose Pablo was on it and so accommodating. Perfect space for our family of five and would have no problem inviting our friends to stay with us next time. Thanks Casa Bri Bri. We will be back!!

Spectacular villa, Gorgeous location, Terrific staff. Can’t wait to return!

We spent a wonderful week at Casa Bri Bri in February 2019 and are already plotting a return visit. The home is beautiful, offering plenty of indoor/outdoor living space for our family of six . The house is beautifully furnished and exquisitely designed to take advantage of its fantastic ocean views. The home was stocked with everything we needed for our holiday. We knew very little about Santa Teresa Beach when we booked our trip and were pleasantly surprised by the home’s location when we arrived. Restaurants, cafes, groceries and beach bars were within easy walking distance as were a number of yoga studios. The beach was a mere three minute walk away. There was plenty to keep us busy in Santa Teresa and Casa Bri Bri’s concierge, Jose, was eager to help us organize our holiday. He picked up groceries for us prior to our arrival, happily met us late at night when our flight to Costa Rica was delayed by six hours and arranged for a chef to cook fabulous dinners for us. What a treat! Casa Bri Bri is well maintained by daily maid, pool and gardening staff. We were well taken care of. We have rented a number vacation homes over the years and this one is our favorite. We highly recommend it!

A stunning, spacious house with beautiful gardens

What a house! The first impression is amazing, walking along the pathway to the front door through the beautiful garden, and then the ocean view as you step into the house and look out over the balcony. So worth it! We enjoyed the infinity pool a lot, and relaxing around the pool in the evening with the lighting is beautiful. I was very impressed with all of the lighting and the design/flow/feel of the house. I especially loved the luxury outdoor/indoor feel of the bathrooms. The bed was insanely comfortable and luxurious. All round a beautiful stay in a beautiful place.

Wonderful Family Friendly Property

Joya Villas was a wonderful stop for my family. We travelled with our 3 young kids and they provided extra amenities for us (crib, bassinet, toys). The concierge was extremely helpful setting up delicious chef meals and surf lessons. This is a great location and we fell in love with Santa Teresa.

Amazing experience and generous spaces

I recently rented Casa Bri Bri for my 40th birthday where we had several friends stay with us. Jose Pablo was very helpful in helping to identify the best private chef for the dinner that we hosted at the house. oOur friends loved the large common areas (pool, lounge and terraces) as well as the ultimate privacy offered by the bedrooms and private shower gardens. The house is a great place to hang out with friends and offers the perfect balance of privacy vs common areas with commanding views of ocean and sunset.

Simply PERFECT

We stayed in this beautiful house for three nights. It is the perfect place to stay in Santa Teresa. The house is amazing, spacious, and it has everything you need for the perfect vacation. The swimming pool and the common area are great to hang out with the family, and the view is simply stunning! The location is also perfect: very private, close to great restaurants and coffe shops, and a minute walk to the beach. Everyone was very helpful, we felt at home! We will come back, hopefully very soon!

Loved this beautiful villa.

Our family of five (two adults and three teens) spent six nights at Casa Bri Bri and wish we could have stayed longer. The home is gorgeous - great design throughout and comfortable. Killer view, sound of the surf below and beautiful pool. The location is great in the fun Santa Teresa. The beach is perfect and a less-than-two-minute walk away. Also, owners Danielle and Steve,were super helpful from time we inquired about the property to when we boarded the plane. Steve set us up with excellent surf instructors, golf plans and stunning horseback riding with Ario Tours. Restaurants in town that were recommended were great. And, chefs Giovana and Yandria (sp?!) who came to prepare dinners, were the best. So lucky to have spent time at this beautiful spot. We want to go back for sure.

Luxurious villa in great location

We were lucky enough to stay at this amazing villa for 3 nights with our family (youngest child aged 6). We were blown away by the luxurious feel to this place. The house is brand new and so spacious, it would be perfect for 2 families or a few couples to share. We had some amazing meals cooked for us by the local chefs provided by Stephen, the owner, and we honestly didn't want to leave the place at all, but when we did, the beach is just a short walk away and there are great surf spots right in front of the villa. We know the area well and this villa is in a great location for Santa Teresa. This stay was a real treat and we loved every minute of it!

Fantastic villa for a family holiday

I stayed at the villa for 2 weeks with my whole family (young kids included) over Christmas and New Years. We all had a truly fantastic time! Most of the family had never been to Costa Rica before so it was a wonderful way to introduce them to such a beautiful place. The house was brand new, stunning, spacious, and very clean. It is a luxurious and wonderfully relaxed environment so the kids had just as much fun as the adults. And of course the views are spectacular. Stephen (the owner) was amazing from when we first booked the villa all the way through to the end of our stay. He helped us sort airport transfers, rental cars, and even a local lady to cook for us at the house so that we could relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying about what to make for Christmas dinner! Stephen really made sure we felt looked after – he met us at the house when we arrived and was there in case we needed anything during our stay. It was without doubt one of the best holidays we have all been on. I would hugely recommend staying at this unique and wonderful place!

Stunning villa with breathtaking views

We needed a house that would suit adults and teenagers alike for our group of 8, each with different needs. For the teenagers, they were a one minute walk from the beach but equally at the end of the day, all gathered poolside for family time. For us adults, we got luxury (my wife didnt want to leave the outdoor bathtub), a huge kitchen plus living area and a beautiful upstairs open space with exquisite panoramic views of the sunsets for sundowners each evening. The owners were incredibly accommodating - adapting a TV room to an extra bedroom (for an unexpected arrival), arranging superb local chefs and even working the housekeeping around our schedules. The bedrooms are enormous, with amazing beds and linen. The massive main living area provided a great space for us all to gather and enjoy family meals with room for friends too. We intend to be back again next year, and look forward to seeing the completed second house as well.
