This farmhouse has been meticulously renovated inside. Plenty of room for 10 people without feeling like you're on top of one another. It is conveniently located near the TART trail and Sutton's Bay, but it feels like you are really out in the country. I would stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay there. The location was great perfectly settled between all the places we like to visit.
We had two families and we fit well, there was plenty of space to spread out.
We can appreciate the hard work that was put into renovating the space and would stay there again to see the continued improvements.
We were super happy with everything at the property and it looked just like the pictures.
Communication from the host was excellent, and I really appreciated being able to get in a few hours early to set up for my sister's bachelorette. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was super clean.
The property is stunning and we would definitely stay again!
Our entire family loved this house so much! Very clean, lots of space, cool property, and great location!! We would highly recommend and also we hope to stay here again.
(No hangers or coffee but otherwise absolutely perfect)
We had a fantastic winter stay at this great farmhouse. The restoration efforts are evident with all modern aminities attended, but at the same time, tremendous historic character persists. We have stayed in many homes in Leelanau County, and this is one of the best! Five stars are not quite enough to do this home justice.
This rental has everything. Beautiful furnishings, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, excellent beds and linens. It's perfectly located on a large property that's quiet and just far enough away from the city. Loved everything about this home.
This is a beautifully updated property. There was plenty of space for our group of nine. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard while the adults relaxed on the porch. It’s a very peaceful setting.
we had a wonderful time at alex’s place. all of the beds and bathrooms were great for a group of 10 ladies. it is in a great location, close to food and fun. alex was a friendly and pleasant host. his commutation was excellent and we appreciated him working with us on a couple requests.
the setting and remodel of this house was so dreamy!
The location was everything for us during this stay. We had bikes and could ride to Suttons bay or into TC right from the nearby trail system. The house was nice and appeared to be updated recently. Some feedback for improvement- there were not that many towels in the bathrooms for the 8 of us during the stay; there are only 4 or 5 chairs by the firepit and we didn't see any extras in the garage so that was a bit disappointing; there were a considerable amount of bugs in the home when we arrived and they were present throughout the weekend; the AC unit in the master on the main floor is in the en suite bathroom and doesn't cool the cool the room too well.
We had the best time staying at this property; the pictures do not do it justice. We are a family of 9 (7 adults and 2 toddlers), and could not have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. The property itself is beyond beautiful, with plenty of yard for the kids to explore, and the house was exactly what we needed. Everyone had their own space, but there were ample options for spending time as a group. We only went out to eat for a couple meals, so we were more than pleased at how accommodating and open the kitchen was, as quite a bit of our time as a family was spent there. The host, Alex was quick to respond whenever we had a question, and was helpful with all things house related. We would recommend this property 100 times over!
Six of us girls had to quickly plan an alternate location for our trip due to the hurricane in our original destination of Ft Myers. Alex responded within 10 minutes and accommodated our request to check in the very next day! The house is very nicely remodeled with a large kitchen, roomy sitting area, huge dining room table and comfortable beds. There are 3 showers, which was fantastic as 6 girls were trying to get ready each day. The kitchen has everything you need.
The location is very close to wineries and only about 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City. It was such a great spot between downtown Suttons Bay and Traverse City.
Some additional benefits of being away from the city was that it was SO quiet at night and the stars you could see at night were breathtaking! I have only seen a sky full of stars like that outside of Michigan.
If we are ever back in that area, I would definitely reach out to Alex to stay there again. You won’t be disappointed 😊
Property was great. Accommodated ages 5 - 70, Grandmother, son and family and daughter and family, there were 9 of us. The kitchen is great for cooking our dinners. Great pots and pans, dishes, glasses, etc. Had a nice grill. A small deck off of a bedroom and a porch off of the front of the house. The house and a living room, dining room with table for all of us to sit at, more than enough chairs and. a TV room. The 4o acre setting was beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed picking wild blackberries and could have bouquets of fresh wildflowers picked from the property. Amazing access to the Leelanau Trails and family members used it every day with the bikes we brought up. Access to town and wineries. Had a washer and dryer so we could come home with clean clothes and there were three bathrooms, with three showers so no one was waiting in line for a shower. All 9 could be ready to get out the door easily. Would go back.
Overall, the house was nice and in a great location. Close to both Suttons Bay and Traverse City and all that the Leelenau peninsula offers. Comfort was a factor since we weren’t fully aware that it was not air conditioned so the family room was stuffy a couple of evenings. The furniture was stylish but not very practical or comfortable for sitting and relaxing with a large group. It would have been nice to use the deck off the main bedroom but there was no seating. Great location, beautiful house but feels that more needs to be done to make it a comfortable long term rental, at least for large groups.
Great location for our wedding at Noverr Farms. Overall approval was good but could have been a little cleaner and the lawn cut. Other than that it was nice.
Nestled amongst the corn fields, cherry orchards and wildflowers this is the ideal spot for the family vacation. Convenient to everything yet private enough to enjoy the stars. Large newly remodeled farmhouse efficiently handled 10 of us and has all the luxuries of home, plus all the peace and quiet of country living.
