We arrived at the property at 11pm and discovered we did not have the access code on our account. We have stayed with VRBO before and this never happened so didn’t think about checking before we arrived. We looked about 10 minutes in our emails and online account while sitting outside the house. There was no driveway so we were parked in the front of the house. While sitting there with our 4 kids, several homeless and strung-out people came by the car and peered inside. The house is on the corner of a busy street. Not finding the code, we sent a message to the house. After waiting another five minutes, we decided to get a different house but with another company. After securing, we were in the way to the new house, the homeowner responded with a code to get in and said that VRBO should have sent it. Since we already secured a new house, we told them to just cancel and refund. Well, still no refund. So buyer BEWARE.
