About this property
Holiday apartment "Alter Schafstall", bedsitter - Alte Scheune Rietzschelhof
Apartment "Alter Schafstall", Living room / bedroom:
The apartment is located in a former sheepfold. Old building elements, such as the set sandstone walls, the old beams and new details, such as the perforated dividing wall between the bedroom and the living area, combine to form a single unit. The apartment is new and modern equipped with TV and radio and wheelchair equitable furnishings. The bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower, a sink that can be lowered and handles on the toilet, which can also be removed. The kitchen consists of a comfortable fitted kitchen with complete kitchen equipment and dishwasher. Two large windows on the gable give the view to a small terrace with garden furniture and the garden. They go east. In the sleeping area is a double bed (180x200cm). There is an extra bed or a cot. Or adults and older children can sleep in the living area on the sofa bed (140x200 cm). The large window in the bedroom is facing south and into the garden. Free WiFi is available in all areas.
The Rietzschelhof was built as a 3-Seitenhof, lovingly restored and is since 1856 in family property. We offer our guests a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, modern and tastefully furnished apartments in a well maintained environment. Far away from the hustle and bustle, yet centrally located, all major attractions of Saxon Switzerland and Dresden can be reached within a short time. As an example: the Bastei, the Königstein, the Frauenkirche, Castle Moritzburg and Pillnitz Castle, just to name the best known. Directly at the farm is a 1000-year-old lime tree, one of the oldest trees in Germany and probably the smallest freestanding museum, dedicated to Clara and Robert Schumann. Also in our direct surroundings one can make many discoveries. The castle Weesenstein, with its castle brewery and the blue cottage in Maxen. From the apartments you can enjoy the view of the garden, which merges with the outdoors and the unobstructed view of the Eastern Ore Mountains. On the property there is plenty of seating with beautiful views to the Königstein, which you can use to end the day after a hike, a shopping trip or a visit to the museum in the evening.
