Very good stay

We were 8 people from 2 families. We have had an amazing stay. La Dordogne is a great area for sports and visits. If ou like the country side (we do) the location is just perfect.

Cadre de verdure exceptionnel

Nous étions venus passer un sejour en famille pour partager des moments agréables dans une belle demeure, au calme et dans la nature. C’est reussi. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’environnement qui est superbe. Un propriétaire très soucieux du bien être de ses locataires. Nous recommandons.

July '22 week long stay

Property exactly as described on the listing. The house is quite remote which is exactly what we were looking for, but it is very close to many of the sights of the Dordogne. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider returning in the future.

Tranquillité assurée !

Très belle propriété, nichée au cœur de la forêt. Elle est bien équipée (rien ne manque, notemment la cuisine qui est impeccable). Literie confortable. Par contre, le fait d être au milieu de la forêt, s accompagne de différentes bêtes (araignées, taons, chauves-souris). Il ne faut pas avoir peur d aller à la chasse tous les soirs avant de se coucher. La maison date du 17eme, elle est assez humide, mais quand il fait chaud la fraîcheur est agréable. Gros dépaysement, et cadre enchanteur, notamment lorsque les montgolfières survolent la propriété. La piscine est très agréable, aurions apprécié un robot pour l entretien, mais c est un détail.

Beautiful and peaceful place

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful house surrounded by a peaceful nature. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the swimming pool during the entire stay as the weather was partly cloudy and rainy except the last day ! This is a perfect place to visit the Dordogne Valley.

Wunderbarer Sommerurlaub im kleine Paradies an der Dordogne

Wir haben als Familie (Eltern, Großeltern und zwei Kinder (2 und 5 Jahre alt)) unseren zweiwöchigen Sommerurlaub 2020 in Cénac an der Dordogne verbracht. Das Haus ist großartig! Der etwas längere Anfahrtsweg aus Cénac hoch lohnt sich, denn man lebt ruhig fast mitten im Wald auf einem sehr weitläufigen Grundstück mit toller Sicht - abendliche Heißluftballons inklusive. Das Haus bietet viel Platz mit diversen Schlafzimmern und Bädern, ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat, was die Ausstattung betrifft, keinen Wunsch offen gelassen (Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Nespressomaschine, Grill, Küchenutensilien etc.). Selbst Handtücher und Bettwäsche lagen bereit, was keine Selbstverständlichkeit in französischen Ferienhäusern ist! Der Pool ist mit einem Gatter umschlossen und bietet dank der zahlreichen Sonnenschirme auch viele Schattenplätze. Wir möchten besonders die freundliche, unkomplizierte und zügige Kommunikation mit den deutschen Eigentümern hervorheben. So macht Urlaub Freude! Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
