You and your guests will definitely enjoy the quiet (local traffic only), forest-setting of this single story 3bdrm 2bth cabin with 2 car garage built in 1995 and located in the heart of resort community of Tahoe-Donner just off Highway 80. This cabin is a perfect getaway for your next ski vacation or spring, summer, fall time activities. It is fully furnished with, slate entrance, carpet, hardwood floor, granite counter tops, a spacious kitchen and dining area with great room with wood stove and vaulted ceilings throughout.
Looking out from great room and master bedroom you have wilderness views. Enjoy those relaxing summer evenings on spacious redwood deck ...two bedrooms with king size beds, one bedroom with queen size bed, sofa bed, queen size air bed and two portable cribs. Two lazy-boy recliners and dining room table for 8 and 4 bar stools. Ceiling fans in all rooms, garage door opener with battery backup. Roku 65" flat screen TV & Roku 40" TVs i bedrooms, plus high-speed internet & computer.

Great cabin

My family of four truly enjoyed our weekend stay. The cabin has plenty of space, is well appointed and offers all the comforts of home away from home. There are televisions in all the bedrooms and great room with good app access. We enjoyed time together by the fireplace and hope to be back.

Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very accommodating and so was the owner. It was such a quiet pretty setting. Room for everyone to relax in the living room together. We were comfortable! We look forward to going back again.

Great location and well cared for home

The property was clearly well cared for and treated like a home, rather than a rental unit. We had a problem with the cleaning upon arrival, but were able to resolve it to our satisfaction, and the owners and manager responded quickly when we reached out. We would stay here again.

Thanksgiving with our adult children, their wives and grand baby

Cabin was in a nice quiet neighborhood. Very clean with a fully stocked kitchen. Closet full of games, good selection of DVD's and books for lounging and family time. Having stayed here in the snow, we look forward to coming back in warmer weather.

Perfect place for a girls weekend - would be also be great for family with small children

The cabin is perfectly comfortable and has everything you’d need for a long weekend stay. We didn’t cook at all on our moms weekend (lots of good restaurants in Truckee!) but the kitchen seemed to be equipped with anything you’d need. I really appreciated the wood stacked neatly in the garage and we enjoyed sipping coffee in the morning by the fire. Location within TD is very convenient. Driveway was not too tricky to navigate, even with some ice/snow. I made a mental note that it would be a perfect place to return to with my young children because it’s a very family friendly cabin and has a cabinet of kids toys/games! Would definitely look into staying here again.

Ski week fun!

House was nicer than pictures online. Very cozy. Everything you needed was there in the house. Firewood was available, sleds and snow shoes to use. The house was in a great location for going to the Donner ski facilities. The recreation center had game room and heated pool and great hot tubs! We had a blast! Will be back to check out the Summer months.

We stayed for a week in this comfortable house, which is on a quiet street. The only noise we encountered was from remodeling that was going on to neighboring houses. The deck is large and has a nice view of trees and a few homes. It was a good place to relax. The kitchen is well-equipped (but needs a couple of new non-stick frying pans), living room couches and chairs are comfortable, and the central heating works well. We also appreciated that there was shampoo/rinse, and plenty of toilet paper! A couple of things to note: dogs must be in a dog crate if left alone in the house (a standard rule for most rentals), so bring your crate. The driveway has a slight slope. We thought the queen bed was quite soft - fine for one adult but two adults might roll to the middle. Finally, Dennis was quick to respond to our communications. I would give this property 4.5 stars if that was an option!

Had some trouble with the lockbox and code being inaccurate. The Owner straightened that out. The TV gave me a little problem, but the Owner was on it and made it right. The place is comfortable and Dennis May was very gracious and fair throughout my stay. Thanks Dennis!!

We loved the cabin!

The cabin is better than the pictures. It is laid out very well. We appreciate the very clean, well-appointed, one-story, 3/2 configuration. When we got there, there was a foot of snow on the deck, but by the time we left, it had all melted. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the quiet and solitude. The other houses are not intrusive at all. The owner, Dennis, was quick to respond to and generous with any request I made before and during the stay. Although we didn't use the TVs, there is one in each room and the living room. The kitchen has all the kitchen things you could want. We will definitely stay here again if it is available.

Donner Lake getaway

The cabin is clean, fully stocked, and nicer than the pictures shown. It was nice to have access to the lodge, the pool, and hot tub after a day of hiking. The cabin was within 10-15 minutes to everything we wanted to do. overall a great stay and would definitely return. Thanks Dennis

We enjoyed our time in the cabin as a family with 2 little ones under 2. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. Rooms were comfortable with enough space. Enjoyed the snow sleds, yard space, and wood burning fireplace. Would stay again in the future, thank you for the hospitality.

Very nice, large cabin with all the necessary amenities. A lot of cute detailed decorations. Plethora of books and games (and TVs) to keep everyone busy. Plenty of snow equipments. Kitchen is also very well equiped. The garage is a plus!!

A Family Christmas Away

A wonderful property that felt like a home away from home; perfect for our first ever away family Christmas. Great location, the host was gracious and prompt with all communications. We did experience a challenge with a smoke alarm like sound; but this is an easy fix and the host worked with us to eliminate it.
