The house was perfect! Newly remodeled bathroom and close to the dunes! We had an issue getting into the house but Miss Kathy was ON IT, and it was resolved immediately!!We will definitely stay again when we go to ride!
Quiet neighborhood. We had ATV on trailer and parked in back yard which worked out great. Clean, well stocked, great check in and out times and easy. Was a great stay. We rode to the dunes from this location with the appropriate permit sticker.
House was very clean. Mattress excellent in both rooms. Everything was great, except TV, no cable, have to have Roku…couldn’t watch football.

Out in northwest Oklahoma it is very hard to have good tv, however you can stream from many sites such as paramount, YouTube, and others if you have a subscription to those services.
The check in was easy as well as check out. The door has a code lock so you dont have to keep up with keys. Snacks extra toothbrush bath stuff was a nice extra touch in case you forget it

Trip to the dunes
Cozy little house. Close to the dunes. Overall a good stay. House was a bit dirty from previous guests. Dirt and food remains on countertops and floors Dishwasher was full of rancid dishes. Took care of that for the next guest. I would stay here again.
Everything worked well with the house- no issues, just what you would expect, One of the bedroom is actually I believe the old Dining room so it has no doors on it, worked well for a kid to be there but maybe something to just note.
Kitchen well stocked. Personally, would have liked a fire ring outside but was unaware of that was something I wanted.
The tv is Internet only so if you want to watch football you may want to bring your own Antanea or passwords to get it on your streaming channel
Perfect little place to stay and rest after a day at the dunes. It was clean and cozy. We had everything we needed and there for the stay. The garage is small but we had 5 sports quads in there and only one was standing up so there is space. Only reason i gave it 3 stars on location was due to the fact there is not much to eat around on that town. And you have to get a permit to ride from that side of town to the dunes. Also after 10 pm you cant ride to the dunes. There is not a single nice trail to ride to the dunes from this location. So we used our trailer every day to take the quads to the sand dunes. Now if you want to rest good after being on the dunes this is the place to stay. Thank you!!!!

Thanks for the nice review, however, I am not responsible for the lack of eating places, nor the trails to the dunes. Those things are out of my control. Also the annual license is a city requirement, not my requirement. I am providing a nice, clean house with all the amenities that I think you will need as well as cooking supplies for your meals. The town has a nice grocery store and they do offer breakfast and lunch specials. The convenience stores also offer hot foods. The German restaurant offers evening meals on weekends by reservation and pizza place offers food most days as well as food trucks occasionally. So there are places to get food. This is a small town of 700+. The offering of food is pretty good for its size. I’ve heard that another restaurant will open soon so maybe on your next trip we’ll have more to offer. Don’t see a trail coming to the east side of town anytime soon, however there is a nice trail off of west Ash street. If I’ve not said it before, thanks for your business.
I grew up in Waynoka. Raised my family here too. I left, came back and my family lived here. Some of my family lived on this street for 75 years.
Why they chose this property
Quiet street, family friendly, well kept for the most part.
What makes this property unique
This cottage has been a part of my history since I was a small child. My grandparents lived here for a few years and my mother inherited it, then I inherited it. Sensing a need for housing for groups or families I decided to remodel it to meet the need. Becoming a host was an easy decision and have not regretted it. This neighborhood is usually a quiet family and friendly one which most families and groups appreciate. It’s also near the Little Sahara State Park, 2-3 miles away. Other attractions are within a 60 mile radius, making this an ideal home base. Some grocery items are available locally as well as restaurants and fast food at the convenience stores or a big box store located 26 miles, 40 miles, or 70 miles as well as other shopping. 1 hr driving time gets you to about anything you may need as well as nice restaurants.
The couch could be used as extra bed for one more, also have pack and play available for a baby. Cookware and basic baking ingredients are provided for anyone who would like to cook. All new kitchen appliances have been recently installed. Coffee pot, hot water pot, waffle iron, dishes, silverware, and other kitchen utensils are all provided. A variety of snacks will be available too.
