We had a great stay at Freddy’s cabin! Had everything we needed for our stay and was a perfect location for our adventures! Will definitely stay here again!
Such a beautiful location! We had one rainy afternoon where we stayed in and played dominos, it was so pretty and relaxing. Place was clean and had all the supplies we needed for cooking. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Close enough to the main street but far enough to provide quiet, beautiful setting. Definitely recommend staying here.
Absolutely beautiful! Blue jays were flying all around the trees, we had a great time being in the fresh air. Home was perfect, plenty of space, nice and warm, great great place for our family. No kitchen accessories needed, place had everything to bbq and cook! Neighbors were nice, very quiet and private. Definitely will come back!
Very nice place! The house was very comfortable for our group, the granddaughters really enjoyed it. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year but the house was very comfortable with the AC! Will stay again if the opportunity arises.
Lovely home in the pines with large living room /kitchen area and outdoor wrap around deck. Older home features knotty pine walls in bedrooms and double sink master bathroom. You must seek out the game room hidden off the garage for darts, foosball and card table. Great family getaway place!
What a wonderful house for group of friends!!
Loved the wood stove...but also loved the fact that the bedrooms were downstairs where we could sleep in a cool room.
Very well stocked even supplied the wood :-)
we used every 'recliner chair/couch in the living space to sit around and visit...
(loved the little guys in the surround trees) ;-)
We enjoyed the short time, we had to leave early due to an emergency so we didn’t get to enjoy our full time but we loved sitting on the back porch enjoying the cool weather.
We stayed here for a chance to escape the heat of Phoenix and to enjoy the White Mountains. We liked the location of the property, surrounded by trees—it was peaceful and tucked away. The listing mentioned a playset, which would have been great for our granddaughter, but we didn’t find a playset at the property. We had plenty of space to spread out in the living area and kitchen. Looking forward to returning to Alpine!
It was quiet and peaceful, not suitable for the handicap but made it due for me. I had to go by ambulance to Springerville due to altitude sickness and return early to my home. The rest of the family came back to clean up. I would recommend this rental to others.
Nice property in the mountains. The driveway was packed with snow. The property manager advised that it might be and provided us with contact information to have the driveway cleared. I feel like it should be the property manager’s responsibility to have the driveway cleared prior to guests arriving but it’s definitely not a deal breaker. Overall we had a great experience at this property and would stay here again.
This is our 3rd stay at this cabin. Neighborhood is very quiet, and nice. National forest is literally a few feet from the back porch. The kitchen is well appointed, and you need nothing when you stay here. This is probably the only place you can stay that has central heat and air. We spent a lot of time on the porch. Alpine AZ is a lovely small community, but you can go out to dinner if you want to. We plan to come back next year. The hiking is amazing.
The great room and surrounding porches were great hangouts. The many reclining chairs were mostly comfortable but some are not functioning properly. Need attention or discarding due to difficulty of getting out of the chairs. It was a very enjoyable stay in this well equipped home.
My brother and I took our 3 early teen grandsons for their first Alpine experience. This cabin was beyond perfect for us. Great layout, with comfortable bedrooms and a game room that also sleeps 3 young fishermen. Add in a great deck that allows you to enjoy the cool breezes and enjoying the quiet of the woods, and you'll understand what makes this place special. Will definitely be back, hopefully soon.
This property was a perfect spot to stay during my elk hunt. It accommodated all of our needs and the owner was terrific to work with. We definitely look forward to staying here again.
This cabin was the perfect place to come after a long day of Elk hunting! It was clean, stocked perfectly & so comfortable for our family! We highly recommend staying here!
