About this property

2 Bdrm, Sleeps 6, 2 Baths: Picturesque cabin retreat inspired by Thomas Kinkade

Situated on 1.5 acres and surrounded by Aspens & Pines, you will fall in love the minute you drive down the street. Plenty of grass to play your favorite outdoor games, or pitch a tent, (kids love sleeping in a tent)! The cabin is not your average cabin in the woods. The property looks like a Kinkade painting! This is an upscale experience that will be hard to beat. This is a true cabin with hardwood floors, wood beams, WiFi, and beautiful interior finishes. The front porch has a swing with outdoor furniture; enjoy the beautiful weather on your porch which overlooks meadows. If you're lucky, you will see a pasture full of elk! We get a newborn about every 3-4 years right in our yard! As you enter the home, the great rm has ample seating to enjoy the massive flagstone fireplace. We have made smores here every year!

The kitchen features the highest grade of beautiful granite counters and backsplash, a 6 burner Jenn-Air gas stove top, a Jenn-Air Quiet dishwasher,
Jenn-Air Oven and Microwave. The stylist kitchen copper sink is ideal since it is antimicrobial. The full size W/D are located in the kitchen as well. Next to the kitchen is the bar area which includes a wine fridge and another copper sink; This is our bar & coffee area. The back patio is off the kitchen and this is where we grill using the Weber charcoal grill. There is also a Traeger smoker for your convenience located in the green house right off the garage.

The master bedroom is located downstairs, while the loft with a queen bed is upstairs. Access the loft via a wooden ladder that is completely secure! The loft is not enclosed so please consider this when booking.

We are located in Tal Wi Wi, which is just 4 miles north of Alpine and at 8200 elevation. Alpine has various diners, the Foxfire restaurant which is a must if you want to eat dinner out or if you just want to dance to a live band!

Are you into fishing streams, or fishing lakes? This is why we purchased here so we had the most variety! Are you into exploring? There are so many trails and dirt roads so make sure you pack a lunch. Into hiking? There are so many hiking trails nearby, it just depends on which one sounds good to you!

This adorable cabin, the amazing view and the great host made this an overall superb mini vacation for myself , my friend and my chocolate lab. The cabin was stocked with everything imaginable, and the new bed was so comfortable. This place definitely felt like home and we will definitely be making a trip back here very very soon!!

Adorable cabin
The cabin was so cozy and Sharri had everything stocked that you would need. Location was very close to cute town, restaurants , local tavern with live music and good fishing at Black River and Big Lake. Would definitely go back again.

Wonderful Summer Vacation
We had a great time at this wonderful cabin in the pines and pretty much everything we needed was available. It was very comfortable and clean with a wonderful well stocked kitchen, relaxing porch, large fenced yard, and even a place to park our trailered OHV’s we rode while there. The one thing I wish we were aware of was that there was no air conditioning, only fans, even though it was listed under amenities. I understand it’s not common for there to be AC in the area, but it was listed. It got pretty warm during the day in July, so I would just recommend bringing more fans if you like it cooler. It was just fine after the sun went down though. Also, just a heads up on the loft. The head room is limited and you have to go down the ladder at night to use the bathroom. Sharri was great about communicating with us and quick to respond. She was even kind enough to let us check in early. Thanks Sharri! Overall we had a nice, relaxing, and enjoyable time. We will definitely keep this place in our favorite places to stay when we’re back in the Alpine area!

Romantic Cabin in the aspens
To start with the pictures on Vrbo didn’t do the cabin justice. When we walked in, we were so amazed at how beautiful every inch of it was. There’s absolutely nothing we could’ve wanted that wasn’t there. We went to Alpine to go fishing and it turned out to be too windy, so we ended up spending a lot of time in the cabin. That turned out to be great because it was so nice and comfortable. The mattress was excellent. The very large piece of property was completely fenced in which is great for aour dog.

Quiet Mountain Retreat
Beautiful secluded property just north of Alpine. We were lucky enough to be the first guests here, and cannot recommend it enough. It's a cozy cabin with modern comforts. Quiet mornings on the porch, sipping coffee, listening to the aspen quake and elk call in the distance (or just the other side of the fence) can't be beat. With so much to explore in the surrounding White Mountains, we will definitely be back.

I first visited this cabin when I wasn't even in the market to purchase. I'm a Realtor so when I saw the Open House sign, I had to turn off the highway to see it. I was in awe while driving to the cabin. I have lived in AZ since 1968, and camped my whole life. This scenery was so spectacular that I already fell in love before I turned into the driveway. Once I saw this upgraded cabin that looked like I was in Scottsdale, I told the owner I was purchasing it! You will see what I mean when you turn off the highway!

Why they chose this property

As soon as you turn left on the road it's located on, you will be in love with the view!! I was in awe!

What makes this property unique

My property is definitely unique because has around $60,000 in upgrades inside the home. The highest grade granite kitchen countertops and backsplash, a copper kitchen sink, a bar with a copper sink, the 2nd bath with stone tiled walls and a stone shower, stone bowl sink, and the master bedroom with beautiful wood, tiled shower, and stone sinks! The 1 1/2 acres are almost flat so the yard is usable!
