About this property
Craftsman Cottage in Greenport Village
Come stay in our charming Craftsman cottage, just a short three block walk from all the shops, restaurants, galleries and bars of Greenport Village!
Originally built as the home of the local fire captain in 1929, the cottage has been lovingly restored and updated with central AC and all modern appliances and amenities.
The cottage is a three minute drive to 5th Street Beach, with its playground and basketball courts. (One of the few beaches in town that doesn't require a parking permit!)
The house has two bedrooms with queen mattresses, an office with a fold-out full daybed and two remodeled bathrooms, with a screened-in porch, sunny backyard and detached garage stocked with beach supplies and a BBQ grill.
All appliances are new and top-of-the-line, including a Wolf range, a large sub-zero refrigerator, central AC and a full washer/dryer. The living room has a 43" Amazon Fire TV, and the whole cottage is wired for fast wireless internet... perfect for working remotely!
As a guest, you'll have complete access to the cottage, as well as the backyard and driveway. The driveway can accommodate one vehicle comfortably and there is also street parking avilable. Town is a five minute stroll away and the nearest beach is a ten minute walk, down Sixth Street.
The Hampton Jitney stops at 476 4th Street (Westbound) and at the LIRR Station (Eastbound). The LIRR stop is a five minute or so walk from the cottage.
(The cottage is well-suited for children, and a pack-and-play can be set up upon request. There are also extra beach chairs and toys in the garage!)

Me, my brother and sister in law, their son and his 1 year old daughter. The house suited us well. The house was well appointed and clean. Old craftsman house with nice modern kitchen and bathrooms. Bedrooms were a little tight with Queen beds but not a big deal. NIce big dining table for meals. Private back yard with picnic table. Quiet neighborhood with short walk to downtown.
