THE EXPERIENCE:
This is a private getaway on a quiet street, with plenty of trees to embrace you in nature. After following a beautiful, easy, tree-lined drive you’ll arrive at this cabin-house located on Cove Mountain. When you arrive, you will be greeted with a “Cozy Cub Cabin” sign and a cozy, welcoming feeling. With easy access and spacious parking, you’ll be settled and ready for any adventure in no time. Right away you will be ready to jump out and start capturing cabin memories, but please make sure your vehicle is in park and your doors are locked. We do have bears that frequent the property, and bears can open car doors!! Please also remember to never leave food items, grocery bags, or trash unattended outside. Keep all food and trash items locked inside your car or inside the cabin. When you’re ready, begin immersing yourself in warmth and wilderness. Step across the stone walkway toward the front deck and enter through the white railing gate. The front door is located off of the deck, where you can access your home away from home with the keyless entry code provided prior to your stay.

• The Entryway and Living Room:

As you step through the front door, you'll be greeted by an open living room with high ceilings, plenty of reclined seating, a flat-screen television, a window view, and a gas log fireplace that will give this cabin that warm cozy feel and further enhance your experience!

- Smart Streaming TV allows you to use your own login for a variety of streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, YouTube). Don’t forget to log out of your accounts before leaving.
- High-speed Xfinity wifi throughout the cabin

• Kitchen and Dining:

As you make your way into the heart of the home, you’ll find the fully equipped kitchen with every item of cookware, silverware, and appliance you might need to accommodate your stay. Craving pancakes or full home-cooked dinners, you will feel right at home making memories in this kitchen.

A 4-seat breakfast nook is awaiting early risers, and a long dinner table that comfortably seats 8 is the perfect indoor seating spot, with woodland views, for chowing down on your delicious home-cooked meals.

- A Tea Kettle and Coffee Machine (We do not provide coffee, please bring your own or purchase some amazing grounds of local varieties at the Brother’s general store, or try brewed coffee at the delicious Heavenly Roast Coffee shop).

• Sunroom:

After a long day of adventure or a belly-filling meal, the sunroom will provide everyone a place to gather around and unwind next to the gas log fireplace, while you gaze out at nature through the wide clear windows. Surrounded by wood-planked walls and ceiling, with a touch of Indian heritage and charm you can peruse the unique paintings to learn something new. Spend hours cozying up around the fire with a glass of wine or your favorite beverage, or chat about the day’s adventures, and plan your next day of even more fun outdoors.

• Laundry Room:

As you walk through the Kitchen, you will find yourself in the laundry room. Handy for light packing/reuse of clothing; or a fresh clean after long hikes through the great outdoors.

- Washer and Dryer (please remember to empty the Lint Trap to prevent fires).

- Single-use laundry detergent is provided. If you plan on multiple loads, please purchase additional supplies as needed.

• Pull-Out Bedroom / Game Room:

As you continue through the laundry room, you will find yourself excited to have found a large, open room with a foosball table, pool table, and a variety of games and movies to enjoy! This room also comes with a comfy queen-size pull-out couch bed for sleeping 2 people. This area has a flat panel television equipped for gaming, Smart TV watching, or going old school and popping in a DVD. A round table that seats 4 is also provided, and perfect for those fun game nights!

***Please note there are two doors exiting the cabin located in these rooms; please do not open these doors as they are for service employees only and poor operation of these doors could result in service employees being locked out. The only door in this room that is available for guests to exit is closest to the laundry room and will exit out to the backyard/fire pit area. Thank you for understanding. ***

Making our way back to the front of the house, next to the living room area, you'll find the cabin's primary bedroom. This bedroom has a King-size bed with remote adjustment for upright seating or lying flat; perfect for those looking for the right amount of coze or some private relaxation. A ceiling fan, side tables, and dresser nicely complement the rest of the cabin furnishings. A flat-screen TV is also provided for personalized Smart TV viewing. Each room also has a digital clock or lamps with a USB port for charging. Or feel free to unplug and unwind!

Heading towards the breakfast nook you’ll hang a right down a short hallway to find the second “bear” bedroom. This bedroom has a cozy corner disposition and a sweet, comfortable queen-sized bed. A ceiling fan, side tables, and dressers nicely complement the rest of the room as well. A flat-screen TV is also provided for personalized Smart TV viewing. Each room also has a digital clock with a USB port for charging.

On the back side of the cabin, you will find the back patio, where you can relax and relish the tree-lined wooded views. There is outdoor seating for your group to chat around the fire pit, or a gas-powered grill ready to prepare even more delicious food.
