Simply switch off and enjoy a holiday in the midst of the unspoilt nature of the Carinthian Alps! The Teichhhaus is a rustic, small holiday cottage which is situated in a completely secluded location at the end of a valley in the Feistritztal. It has an entrance hall, a kitchen-cum-living room, a bathroom with WC and 2 bedrooms on the upper floor. A cot can also be rented. The property is located in the centre of a private hunting area. The distance to the landlord's farm is approx. 1.5 km. This can be reached via passable forest roads or via the public road network. If there is a lot of snow, there is a car park approx. 250 metres from the holiday home. Despite the absolutely secluded location and remoteness, you can reach the nearest village of Grades in approx. 10 minutes by car. Here you will find a functioning catering service. 2 km further on is the main town of the valley Metnitz with restaurants, doctor, tennis courts and natural swimming pond. The nearest town is Friesach with approx. 7000 inhabitants and is 15 km away from Grades. From here there are connections to the higher-grade transport network.the Teichhaus used to be the residential house of a working mountain farm. It was renovated and largely refurnished in spring 2020. A stream flows directly past the property and flows into two ponds 80 metres from the cottage. These were renovated in 2018/19. The ponds are stocked with trout and are suitable for fishing. Attached to the holiday home is a hall which is used as a storage and utility building. Vehicles can be parked here. The pond house is popular because of its secluded location and tranquillity in the middle of nature. Those interested have the opportunity to learn about life on a mountain farm. Perfekter Kurzurlaub

Die Teichhütte ist wunderbar und ruhig gelegen- eben voll in der Natur. Der Sternenhimmel ist in vollkommener Dunkelheit herrlich zu bewundern, da keine Lichter oder Laternen stören. Sie ist mit dem Nötigen ausgestattet und vermittelt einen gemütlichen Eindruck. Ein Domizil zum Runterkommen! Allenfalls eine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit in der Wohnküche haben wir etwas vermisst. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten wunderbar entspannen, auch bei anfangs sehr schlechtem Wetter. Da ist der Ofen Gold wert. Wanderungen von der Haustür aus sind möglich und bieten alles, was das Wanderherz begehrt. Das Tal befindet sich in einer der schönsten Ecken Kärntens, wie wir finden. In der Kürze der Zeit haben wir herrliche Ausblicke und Eindrücke gewonnen. Die Vermieter sind einfach nur toll und unkompliziert. Sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich, stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Noch einmal unseren herzlichen Dank an Euch! Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen! Jörg und Birgit
