Located just half a block up from the beach, this two bedroom, two bath home is located in Cayucos on the central coast of California in San Luis Obispo County.

Charming home with a superior location. This property is located walking distance to town and less than a block to the beach. The efficient plan features a spacious great room, master bedroom with king bed, desk setup for working from the comfort of your vacation, plus en suite full bathroom. The guest bedroom offers a full size bed with a twin trundle beneath, and another desk. The guest bathroom is a ¾ with shower. The newly built front deck offers a peek of the ocean and a BBQ for outdoor grilling of your favorite fresh local fish. The property has recently been renovated with new paint, new flooring and new stack-able washer/dryer. It has everything you might need to stay comfortably on your next vacation to the Central Coast.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
~ This property rents by the month only (30-nights or longer).
~ This property allows pets under certain conditions.
~ This property has an attached owner's unit on the back of the property. Some months they use it regularly, some months not at all. Please inquire with the property manager before booking.

LOCAL INFORMATION:
The local surf shops offer wet suit rentals and sales and there are several kayak rental shops that also offer stand up paddle board (SUP) lessons. There are also local whale watching and day and overnight fishing boat tours.

Some information about the area: The nearest airport is in San Luis Obispo (SLO), a 30 min. drive by car. Some of the local attractions include California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. Hearst Castle, built by William Randolph Hearst is a 40 min. drive north on Highway 1. There are numerous wineries in the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo areas. The Big Sur coastline is about an hour’s drive north. Don’t miss the elephant seals that populate the area along with all our other wildlife. There are great hiking trails north along Highway 1 or at Montana de Oro State Park in Los Osos.

Short walk to the beach. So fun to walk to restaurants and shops via shore. The location is fantastic, the house is super comfortable and has everything you could need. Comfy beds. The property manager, Kelly, was very nice and responded quickly to the couple of questions that came up.

Excellent Accommodations

Five stars for the house. Excellent accommodations. Wonderful neighbors and neighborhood. Steps to the beach and short walk to downtown antique stores and restaurants. Minus one star for the grossly inaccurate statement in the description: "This property has an owner's unit on the back of the property. Owners come once per month or less." During our thirty-day stay there were four separate visits to the owner's unit. The owners came for two visits and the owner's brother came for two visits for a total of eighteen days. For the final nine days of our stay one of the owners was there and rarely left the property. This was very discomforting.

Thank you for the feedback. I’m sorry for the inconvenience — this was not typical usage of the owner’s unit. I’ve spoken with the owners, and they will be more mindful of their visits when guests are staying.
