Great place to stay

This home is a wonderful place to stay especially with your dog! It’s a little less than a mile from the house to the Eno river where it intersects with guess road—lovely trail! And easy driving to other Eno river trailheads and to little river trails for walking and biking. Home is very pleasant and the hosts were kind and available.

Visiting family

Convenient location. Clean and comfortable. Day beds are a little awkward for couples, but would stay there again.

Amazing!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Nichole was super responsive throughout the whole process. The home was roomy, very clean and great location. The beds were extremely comfortable!! We frequent Durham often and typically stay in a hotel, but not anymore, we will definitely be back to stay again.

Comfy home away from home

I stayed here for several weeks while my house was being prepared; the house had everything I needed to make the stay comfortable for both me and my dog! The host was also excellent and quick to reply to my messages.

Fantastic Stay

It was a perfect spot close to shopping and hiking at Eno River Park. The property was clean, efficient, and quiet. I highly recommend it for business or personal travel —especially with dogs. The spacious backyard was fully fenced in.

We had a great deal of trouble with the wifi and electronics. Had 4 TV remotes but only 1 worked on 1 TV. Had to find batteries for it. The router was someplace else, rather than plugged in and functional. It took several days to get someone to come out and fix it . The coffee maker had 3 used pods and 2 very old. The washing machine had dirty sheets in it. There was no kitchen trash can and no bags available. The floors were dirty.

Durham visit

We stayed for 4 nights. The house is clean and newly renovated. There is plenty of space, and there were plenty of supplies. It is a very short drive to Durham, which was important to us.

The Perfect Stay

I could not have asked for more.... The home is super welcoming, well appointed, nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. The owners literally thought of everything to make it a home away from home. Thank you so much for opening your home to travelers.

Fabulous Home

We were in town for a wedding at Carolina Grove. This was a great property with plenty of room for our entire family. There is plenty of seating in the family room. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Nice quite neighborhood

I brought my visiting daughter to Duke, and this was the perfect place to stay. It is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough to give you a quiet place to enjoy the house and spacious backyard while trying to gather your thoughts. The house was clean and well-organized and provided everything we needed. It is definitely on our list of repeats if she decides Duke is where she wants to complete her Master's.

Duke Graduation stay

The house location and rooms and backyard were so great, as is the kitchen! There were plenty of linens and towels and the kitchen was well stocked. Here's suggestion for improvement: the light in the master bedroom wouldn't turn on, and the remote that controls it was missing; the vent in the bedroom hallway needs to be cleaned or replaced because it blew out very dirty air. Other than that, the house was very clean. Thank you!

Not what we expected

The location to our event was the redeeming quality to this property. It was 8 minutes away from the Arrowhead in. I was unable to download the manual from the VRBO app. once the owner gave us our code.

Overall good experience

There were 6 of us (and a pup) staying here for a family member’s wedding. The location was great and the recommendations for restaurants and things to do were wonderful! The fenced in yard was incredible for the dog to run around and I love the dog friendly vibes the house provided! The only VERY minor negatives were: it was somewhat confusing finding the correct door to enter the property and that there were not a lot of bath towels for 6 people. Although the towels did appear to be clean, there were a few stains on the ones that were provided. They were also all located in the master bathroom, which made them somewhat difficult to find. Overall it was a great experience and would still stay again!
