Lovely carriage house
This hot springs vrbo was a great place to explore the city on Easter weekend 2025. It’s just up the street from bathhouse row where we spent much time. We actually drove to the row and parked on the street for free then did lots of walking from there. We did walk from the house to St John Catholic Church for Easter mass, to nearby restaurants, and to the national park trailhead just a few houses down. Very good location. The house was excellent for just me and my wife, but there is a nice bunk bed in the upstairs loft area and a separate guest bedroom for kids or friends. We ate out the whole time and never used the microwave or air fryer, but beware there is no stovetop if cooking is your thing. You’d have to use the grill if so. Nice little fridge and options for coffee or tea. Seating space was mostly upstairs with the bean bag being a favorite place to plop down. The covered second story deck looking out over the trees and back yard was lovely this spring weekend, and the backyard Adirondack chairs were nice to take a load off too. We are glad we stayed here and thank the owners for great advice on places to eat and things to do. Robert was excellent at communicating and answering our questions. It was quiet in the historic part of town with none of the noise down on bathhouse row reaching us. Only thing we missed was meeting their neighbor groundhog, Russel, but the birdies were friendly and curious. We recommend this charming getaway for your next trip.
