The flat is located in the Santa Maria Novella district, in the heart of old town Florence, a few minute walk from the main train station. The neigborhood is full of good restaurants and all the most famous sites like the Duomo, Uffizzi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio are within walking distance. This property was in a great location and the apartment was beautiful. The only downfall was the air conditioning. We were there in July so it was brutally hot and the air conditioning was sub-par. If you go in the cooler months, it's perfect! Otherwise, the property was clean, beautiful, and in a wonderful location!

We had a wonderful week at this apartment in Santa Maria Novella. The location is hard to beat. You're steps from the train station and still close enough to walk to the Duomo, but the street is quiet at night, which mattered a lot to us. The patio was the highlight honestly. We ate breakfast out there most mornings and it felt like our own little escape from the city noise.A few things worth flagging for future guests. The wifi is spotty, and it seems to be a building issue rather than anything the host can fix, thick old walls and multiple units sharing the connection. If you need to be on video calls for work, plan around it. The A/C also keeps things semi cool rather than ice cold, and it's not even across the apartment. One bedroom stayed comfortable, the master less so. There are local regulations limiting how long AC units can run, so it can't just be left on all day and night the way you might expect at home. That made for a couple of tough nights in late August heat. I'd guess this place is at its best in the shoulder seasons, spring or fall, when you're not fighting the heat in the first place.The host was responsive and the apartment itself was clean, well stocked, and true to the photos. We'd stay again, just with a heads up on the internet and temperature.

Providing a thorough review as when I booked, there were only two. Highlights of this apartment are its location and its spaciousness. Location is ideal on a safe street near everything you need and all the places and it’s wonderfully quiet. Gabbbo 13 is down the street and fabulous. The apartment is even larger than it seems. Both couches are pull out. We did not use but could definitely have 2 families stay. Having two bathrooms is wonderful. Laundry machine worked great. Kitchen is well stocked. The terrace is lovely and if we’d stay longer and the weather cooperated, we would have hired a chef prepared meal. While there the temps were 100 plus. Downsides were that the main bedroom with the brick wall does not have an air-conditioning unit making for warm sleeping conditions. There is a ceiling fan and a floor isolating fan, which made it manageable. We did sleep. The unusually high temperatures I’m sure rendered the air conditioners less effective than usual. A downside of the large space. There are three air conditioning units in the apartments Another thing to know is that the host will not meet you at the apartment after 8 PM. We had to make a separate stop to pick up the keys from him at 9 PM. The exchange was smooth, but unexpected so it’s worth noting based on your arrival time. Beds are decent. Taxis can drop off and pick up at your door. Side note: fierenze card is a great value and was a wait free experience at all venues. Highly recommend staying!

We enjoyed this wonderful apartment on a quiet street close to everything. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor space where we could have our coffee every morning. Highly recommended!

The flat was bigger than expected and very clean.The outdoor sitting area was a great bonus. The location was perfect for exploring Florence and day trips via train. The beds and furniture were a bit firm but not uncomfortable. Lots of great restaurants close by and neighborhood felt very safe.
