This 3-room maisonette apartment in chic Scandinavian design offers 63 m² of space for up to 6 guests and combines comfort, relaxation, and the practicality of your own home.
LIVING ROOM
The living room includes an inviting couch that easily converts into a bed for 2, a cozy vintage wooden armchair, and a lovely boho hanging chair. In addition to a 46” Samsung TV with MagentaTV and Netflix HD, you’ll find our DVD collection, a Bluetooth soundbar, a variety of board games, and some of our favorite books. MagentaTV provides access to all major media libraries, TV channels, YouTube, and Internet/DAB+ radio. A personal Netflix HD account is ready to use – perfect for relaxing after an adventurous day in the Harz mountains. Of course, you also have access to free, unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi (50 Mbit/s on 2.4 and 5 GHz networks).
This is usually our personal home when we are in town, which is why it’s much more lovingly and comfortably furnished than a typical vacation rental. Expect lots of plants, nature-themed wall art, our own books, cozy blankets, candles, and attention to detail.
BEDROOMS
Both bedrooms are equipped with king-size box-spring beds (180x200 cm), cotton bed linens, two stylish bedside lamps, a large dresser, and a wardrobe. Blackout curtains ensure restful sleep. Wi-Fi is available in both rooms. The cozy couch in the living room quickly converts into a bed for two.
KITCHEN
The fully equipped built-in kitchen includes a fridge with freezer compartment, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, pots, dishes, glasses, and cutlery. Coffee lovers can choose between a WMF coffee maker, French press, or Italian espresso maker. In addition to coffee, a variety of teas are available free of charge. The spacious dining area in the living room comfortably seats 6, and the table is extendable. A high chair for children is also provided.
BATHROOM
The bathroom features a bright, clean design with bamboo elements, a large designer walnut mirror by Ola Wihlborg, and a refreshing rainforest shower – perfect to start or end your day. Amenities include a hairdryer, Bosch washer-dryer, unisex shower gel (Adidas) & shampoo (Head & Shoulders), and of course towels. A practical tabletop ironing board is located behind the washing machine. You’ll find an iron and a first-aid kit under the sink.
PARKING
Most parking in the city center is paid. You can use the “Altstadt” parking garage (7-minute walk south; extra charges), or park for free on “Lindenbergstraße” (7–8 minutes walk north). https://g.co/kgs/UiZahFt
GUEST ACCESS
The entire maisonette apartment is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay – your home base for excursions and adventures.

SAFETY
The building has a smoke ventilation system. The apartment includes a fire extinguisher (in the kitchen), smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a first-aid kit in the bathroom.
TOURIST TAX & WERNIGERODE TICKET
The city charges a tourist tax for all guests in the district: €3.50 per night per adult (incl. VAT) and €1.75 for children aged 6–18. Children under 6 are exempt. The tourist tax is already included in your booking price – no extra cost for you!
LOADING/UNLOADING & PARKING
For loading and unloading, you may stop briefly on “Unterengengasse”. Please make sure not to block access to the courtyard of the catering service "Café Wiecker". In the historic old town, everything is a bit tighter.
Since parking on the property or in the courtyard is not allowed, we recommend using the public free parking on Lindenbergstraße or the “Altstadt” parking garage on Pfarrstraße (paid). Both are within a 7-minute walk.
HOUSE RULES
Violations of the non-smoking policy or bringing pets without prior notice will result in a €100 cleaning fee.

Aufenthalt an sich sehr schön. Check In war eine Katastrophe, keine Infos vom Gastgeber, war erst telefonisch auch nicht zu erreichen. Ich hatte im Vorfeld eine Frage zur Parksituation gestellt aber leider keine Antwort bekommen.Dann falsche Übermittlung der Reiseteilnehmer,wir waren 3 Leute, laut Veranstalter sollte aber nur einer anreisen, sodass wir Betten selber beziehen mußten. Trotzdem ist die Unterkunft empfehlenswert, da sie sich direkt in der Altstadt am Marktplatz befindet.
