About this property

Tranquil Lake House Where Loons Call and Deer Wander

MY T Pine Acres – A Classic Northwoods Lake Retreat
A vintage 1940s lake home with timeless character, MY T Pine Acres sits on a gentle hill overlooking beautiful Silver Lake—a pristine, 40‑acre no‑wake lake tucked deep in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. Just 9 miles south of Minocqua and minutes from the Bearskin Trail in Hazelhurst, this peaceful getaway offers the perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and classic cabin comfort.

A Quiet Lake Setting Surrounded by Pines
Towering pine trees frame the property, creating a private, woodsy atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice the wildlife—deer wandering through the yard, loons calling across the water at dusk, eagles soaring overhead, and ducks gliding along the shoreline. It’s the kind of place where mornings feel slow, evenings feel cozy, and nature is always close.

Silver Lake features a clear sand‑bottom swimming area and a natural grass shoreline. Guests can enjoy the sunshine from the large Otter Island swim raft or relax on one of two piers with a book, a fishing pole, or simply the quiet. Because the lake is no‑wake, you’ll never hear loud motorized watercraft—just the breeze, the birds, and the water.

Boating & Fishing Included
Your stay includes a rowboat, canoe, paddleboat, and kayak—perfect for exploring the lake. Anglers will appreciate the plentiful bass, perch, panfish, and northern pike.

Comfortable, Classic Cabin Living
The lake house features two bedrooms and a full bathroom.
The spacious master bedroom has been refreshed with rustic pine siding on the walls and features a king sized bed. The bedroom opens into a charming knotty‑pine sun porch with panoramic lake views. The porch also offers a full‑size bed for extra sleeping. The cozy second bedroom includes a queen bed, dresser, and closet. The eat‑in kitchen retains its original handcrafted knotty‑pine cabinets and is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, and appliances. The charming living room—surrounded by windows facing the lake—refreshed with rustic pine siding and ceiling beams, includes comfortable seating including a queen sleeper sofa, two recliners and and a SMART TV.

Outdoor Spaces Made for Relaxing
Enjoy meals at the picnic area, fire up the charcoal grill, or gather around the lakeside fire pit as the sun sets. The lakefront, fire pit, piers, raft, and watercraft are shared with one additional on‑site rental, giving everyone plenty of space to enjoy the water.

Location & Recreation
The town road is an approved ATV route, offering easy access to the near by ATV trail system. Hiking, biking, fishing, paddling, and exploring the Minocqua area and beyond are all within easy reach.

Good to Know
Pets are allowed with pre approval.
Wi‑Fi is included via Verizon LTE home Internet

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, nostalgic Northwoods getaway where families make memories and nature sets the pace, this lake home is the perfect fit.

Lovely north woods cabin and property. Fishing was great right off the pier. Had a close encounter with an eagle as we fished from the pier! Very quiet and relaxing. Owners live right next door if you need anything.

The property is a cute cabin in a very peaceful setting. The owners have a couple other cabins on the premises and also live right next store. The cabin inside had some new renovations which were nice! Overall we had a great stay! My husband and I used it as a midpoint between hiking/waterfalls to the north and Door County etc to the south/east. There was only one kayak on the premises which we were a little disappointed by as we would have loved to kayak together. There was a row boat and a paddle boat however. It was a perfect little place for us!

We had a wonderful time! It was my partner, our dog, and I. The cabin was very roomy and clean. Very cool inside. The best part was the water, incredibly quiet. We were the only ones on the entire lake for the stay. The fishing was amazing!! The lake is stacked with large Bass and some Northerns. Fishing on the dock was better than going out on the rowboat. Next time, we are definitely bringing an electric motor to attach to the boat thats provided. We can't wait until next year, or maybe later this year, to stay again!

Perfection!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Rustic, yet we had everything we needed and more. Our main objective was to be out in nature and to ride a couple of the wonderful trails in the area on our bicycles

Much larger place than expected

Three separate bedroom areas, a large kitchen, and family room. Fishing was outstanding! Firepit area had a great overlook of Silver Lake. Deer walking through the property every day. Very friendly owners!

Very quiet and cozy cabin in the woods. The cabin is quirky and obviously very vintage, but we love that sort of thing. The cabin is comfortable and spacious for four adults or even a couple more. The view of the lake is amazing and the fresh air is just what we needed. Very relaxing. I wish the weather would have cooperated a bit more so we could have campfire and go in the lake, but August weather in WI is always fickle. We made the best of it and explored the beautiful area.

What a week!

Watching the wildlife, listening to loons, we saw some birds I haven’t seen in my lifetime. The water is so clear. Lots of windows in this cabin. It is a close drive into civilization, if you want to shop or eat. It was so quiet. The cabin itself is clean and comfortable. There were games, movies, and books but you will want to get outside and check out the lake! It was a great week away. We are heading home refreshed and relaxed!

Photos gave different impression

Given the photos, we were expecting a more updated interior. It was definitely a vintage lake cottage; while it was basically clean, we probably would not opt to stay again in a property of this age, particularly given Covid. We were glad we brought our own bedding, uncertain about age, cleanliness of mattresses which were quite soft. We perhaps were not as aware as we should have been of the property we were renting.

We are a small mom and pop business and take great pride in running a clean and maintained rental. With 50+ photos we feel that the rental is well depicted and allows a guest to see what the property, lake and grounds look like before they arrive. As outlined in the property description, the lake house was built in the 1940’s so it’s definitely a classic or vintage rental property. The mattresses have been replaced in the past five years. As far as your comments on bedding, each bed is stripped after every rental and all bedding is washed throughly before being put back on beds. I’m sorry our rental did not meet your expectations.

My husband and I inherited this beautiful property from my mother. I grew up in Hazelhurst and was raised on the shores of Silver Lake. My husband and I recently moved back to Hazelhurst from southern Wisconsin and live on the property with our three dogs! The property has been in our family since my grandfather purchased in the 1940's.

What makes this property unique

Peaceful and relaxing! Swimming and fishing are awesome. We are on a quiet no wake lake with no public access.
