The house is cute, backyard is awesome. Front yard had no curb appeal, lack of privacy as there were no curtains or shades on the windows in the basement. Windows were broken and lamp found on the bedroom floor when we arrived. It was ok stay for one night.
Enjoyed our stay with six people in our family. We had enough room. The layout of this house is great. Quiet neighborhood and the backyard porch is very nice to sit and chill. We didn’t get to use the firepit. Table was big for us and could have added two to three more people. Two bedrooms upstairs and another downstairs with two singles. A pullout couch downstairs as well in the den area. Only issue was no curtains or blinds downstairs in the bedroom or den so expect no privacy if anyone is sleeping down there. All we did was put up the couch pillows to block the windows for more privacy. Wasn’t a big deal. Otherwise, house was great! Would stay there again.
The location of the house in reference to NC State University (and our daughter’s apartment) was outstanding. Great backyard! Wish the weather was better, but if you were there in the Fall or Spring, it would be a highlight! Quiet neighborhood, besides hearing faintly I40 in the background. Communications were great. House was as described. Kitchen was fully stocked—plates, utensils, pans, spices, supplies, etc. Two large smart TVs and Bluetooth speaker for music. A big surprise was a Christmas tree in the living room when we arrived! What a special and kind touch by the owners for the holiday season. We were there for graduation and were able to host a couple of functions for family, which we would not have been able to do in a hotel. Easily could sleep 6! We would most definitely go back!
We enjoyed the lovely covered comfortable deck with a peaceful view of the backyard with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Short car ride to downtown from this quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.
My teammates and I really enjoyed this property. It reminded us a little of a ski chalet and the different levels gave us enough room to not feel crowded at all. Loved having cocktails on the back deck in the evening and cooking on the very nice gas grill. I loved the mid century modern decor! We had a plumbing issue during our stay and our host, Jeff was super responsive and had it repaired immediately. The house was super comfy and was our little oasis during a hard work week. We wanted to rent the following week, but someone beat us to it! Thank you Jeff!
We had a wonderful stay! The place was nice the way it was split with a bathroom and bedroom upstairs and then downstairs. It was able to give two families sharing a property some privacy. Jeff was very easy to communicate with and answered all our answers promptly. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
