Relaxing time!
We had a little difficulty getting into the property- the key wouldn’t work. We used the out of hours tel.no and a lovely, helpful lady came to our rescue. The flat was as described and photographed. The apartment block was quiet, clean and friendly. The pool was one of the best I’ve swam in, if a little cold! Having the balcony was lovely, overlooking a side street and up into the mountains and the large hotel pictured in the flat brochure. This was not obtrusive though. The flat was close to the Main Street (approx. 2 mins away) and all 7 restaurants. Buses were frequent and cheap. Taxis were available but more expensive. Advise booking a private hire from the airport if landing later in the day. The restaurants were varied, well priced and friendly. The local shop stocked a good selection of food, fresh and packaged. We booked some trips around the island and out to sea via Get your Guide- very good. Locally booked fishing trip not so good. Local beach was amazing with the black sand and at some points, dramatic waves- not exactly young child friendly unlike the swimming pool.
A very relaxing holiday, not loud nightlife but enough to do in a week.
