Exclusive Monomoy Rd location with short walk to harbor beach-perfect for kids. Features expansive front and rear lawns and gardens, outdoor seating and dining areas, swing on shaded brick terrace. Gardens and lawns are all organic for many years. Backyard fully fenced in. Plenty of room to run, play ball, croquet, sunny and shady nooks for reading.
Elegant, private outdoor shower on the west side of the house is perfect for a post-beach shower in the late afternoon sun.
Kitchen : Well-equipped for family dining or serious cooking: lots of china and serving pieces, wine glasses, large and small cooking equipment for every kind of meal; large selection of table linens, many vases for flowers fresh from the garden or market, organic herbs in the garden. Gas range and Bosch dishwasher. Electric, Keurig and press coffee makers, toaster, blender…
Large closets and dressers in each bedroom , comfortable new mattresses, pillows
Quiet Reading area in each bedroom in addition to shared areas.
Accommodates eight comfortably in the bedrooms, around the dining room table, on the decks and in the living room. Equally comfortable for families and all-adult groups: owner happily entertains grown-ups and four grandchildren.
Master/queen bedroom w/ in-suite tub-bath on top floor; downstairs: queen bedroom w/ in-suite shower bath; 1 pair twin bed room and 1 single bed room w/ twin trundle bed, shared hall bath w/ tub and shower. Small window AC units for bedrooms if needed.
Children: High chair and stair gate, plus plastic plates, bowls, forks and spoons, cups, and beach toys for little ones; boogie boards, puzzles and games for older kids.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Hope you have enjoyed your stay. We need your help to make the quick turnovers happen. Please wash as many towels (beach and bath) as you can starting the night before you depart.
And in the morning please get as many of the sheets moving thru the laundry as you can. Totally fine to leave the washer and dryer running as you leave.
The cleaners will fold the towels, remake the beds etc, but there isn’t time for them to do all the laundry. If no laundry is done, the cost will be deducted from your deposit. Thanks for your help!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Laundry: renter is responsible for washing all sheets and towels before departure. Fees for laundry not washed will be deducted from security deposit
No dogs allowed on the living room sofas please.

Perfect vacation

We loved the house and staying on Monomoy. The location was amazing and the house had everything we needed. Beautiful and private back yard as well. Eating dinner on the deck with a view each night was wonderful!

We loved it!

The house is a gem in Monomoy! Easy walk to the harbor, view from the deck, generous room sizes. Best of all we were able to bring our dog!! Thank you!! We have been coming to Nantucket for 20 years. This house is well outfitted, comfortable and fairly priced compared to other options. We would love to come back!

Amazing View

Always wanted to stay in Monomoy and this house was a dream come true. Wonderful view of the harbor from the top deck. Just sat and watched the ferries come and go. Great location. Not too far from town but enough for peace and quiet. Absolutely loved the house and location and will be back again and again.

Amazing Weekend

I stayed here for a long weekend, and the house could not have been better. It was clean, very spacious, and just the perfect Nantucket home. We spent a lot of time in the large living room, where 8 or more people could more than comfortably hang out. We spent most of our time on the enormous front deck, on which we ate breakfast each day while gazing out at the ships coming into the harbor and used the large grill to cook the majority of our meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all clean and comfortable. The outdoor shower was such a refreshing experience each morning. The kitchen is decent sized and had all the tools necessary for cooking for large groups. This house could not be better for a vacation in Nantucket. I honestly was hesitant to post a review, because I want to be able to get the house again next time I visit. It was perfect.

Monomoy is the perfect location, near to Town, harbor, bike paths, markets and all island areas. The dead-end street is great for little kids on their bikes. The view is always interesting.
