The beachfront location of this property was incredible, and having direct access to the beach was easily the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, that was about where the positives ended.We were extremely disappointed with the overall condition of the home compared to what was advertised in the listing photos. The property was not nearly as well-maintained or as nice as we had anticipated.More concerning, there appeared to be significant black mold throughout the home, and our entire family became sick during our stay. This was incredibly upsetting and made it difficult to fully enjoy what was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation.Additionally, the neighboring property had what appeared to be 20 cats. Unfortunately, the back deck and walkway leading to the beach were covered in cat feces, and there was an overwhelming smell of cat urine. It made using the outdoor space, which should have been one of the best features of a beachfront rental, extremely unpleasant.We understand that not every vacation rental will be perfect, but cleanliness, maintenance, and a safe environment are basic expectations when renting a home for a family vacation. Given the condition of the property and the significant difference between the listing photos and what we actually experienced, we left feeling very disappointed.The location is beautiful, but unfortunately, the condition of the home overshadowed what could have been a wonderful vacation.Also the WiFi didn’t work
