This 1915 apartment building has tons of historic charm but with contemporary amenities and updates. The shared balcony is perfect for morning coffee. The unit itself is peaceful and spacious, with classic furnishings, unique artwork, and original hardwood floors. Enter into your tranquil living room and unwind on the mid century style sofa, or whip up something tasty in the brand new modern eat-in kitchen. The stately bathroom has just been renovated with new marble tile surround, floating vanity, and new flooring. The bedroom is bright and airy and features a super comfy memory foam mattress and a desk should you need a quiet space to work. Pets are welcome!
Guest access: The entire apartment is yours. The only shared spaces on the property are the balcony, laundry room in basement, and parking lot.
Other things to note: This is a lower unit in an old historic building - you may hear other guests walking around in the unit above you. We do have plenty of area rugs with thick pads to dampen sound and ask them to be quiet and respectful, but if this would bother you or you are a very light sleeper, we would suggest booking an upstairs unit instead.
Location: Located in the Evergreen Historic District in Midtown Memphis! Midtown is a wonderful central location, convenient to Downtown, Beale St, all the cool restaurants, bars and shops in Midtown, Overton Park, Overton Square, East Memphis, Graceland, Shelby Farms Park, and about 15 minutes from the airport.

Just loved this 100 year old home. We came into town for Graceland. Lots of charm inside this home. Glass doorknobs, cute kitchen. Lots of room for 2 people.we stayed 2 nights. You will not be disappointed once inside this home.
Just as clean and tidy as advertised, pictures are accurate. Great for two people. Good central location to everything we wanted to see. Wonderful local places to eat and shop. Very interesting local history in the area.
We were in town for MIM and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! It was close, everything we needed was close and the neighborhood was quiet! The unit was just as nice or better than the pics. We had a great stay and will chose this place again next year for MIM.
This cozy space lets in so much light it greets the guest with open arms and gives a warm embrace when entered. The wall color is serene, and there are ample outlets for guests who need more than two sockets per outlet. Also, the proprietor supplies a blow-dryer--nice! And, finally, the location is central to anywhere a guest would want to go in Memphis. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in a place with a historic feel of the city.
Clean and comfortable. Very charming inside! The neighborhood is up and coming and many empty homes nearby. No lock on the iron security door and what appeared to be a camp out set up inside the tree next to the property - chairs, a tent, boxes, etc. Not the safest feeling if you’re staying alone or walking a dog at night. Sweet place and convenient, but not sure I’d stay again because of that.
Off Madison where the nightlife is great, close to downtown with tons to do, not far from the zoo and a scooter ride from Cooper Young. Love the communication of the host and the ease of the stay.. just sleep and go basically. Throw your used dishes in the sink and towels in the tub… everything is taken care of.
Overall, I was impressed with the apartment. It was clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a weekend getaway. Only negative comment was that had a closed in smell to it, and the walls are thin. I could hear the upstairs neighbors coming and going. It was close to Beale Street and downtown which is what I was looking for. Thank you for having me!
This apt. was everything we hoped for. Stephanie was a wonderful host and did everything she could to make sure we were taken of. We will definitely recommend this place to others. It was just so convenient, so comfortable, and so well maintained.

I love interior design and renovating, writing, yoga, dogs (especially mine), walking places whenever possible, drinking wine while I cook, thrift shopping, and long dinners with friends. I've enjoyed staying in short term rentals all over the world and it brings me a lot of joy to be able to share my spaces with fellow travelers. I'm so happy to host you.
