Summer in Nantucket in Ideal Location (Miacomet)

New, bright and sunny home in a great location. Very nicely furnished. First floor is open and airy with large kitchen/dining area. Granite counters, high end appliances, and an island with stools seating six - in addition to table seating for 8. Open spacious living room with flat screen TV and wii game console for rainy days or quiet evenings. First floor master bedroom with large private bath and dressing area (queen bed). A laundry area and half bath complete this floor.

The second floor has a very large second master bedroom with full bath. Room contains one queen bed and a twin bed with trundle. Two more bedrooms are also on this floor, sharing a hall bath. One bedroom has a full size bed and another with two twin beds. All new furniture and appliances in 2005. Fully modern kitchen and baths.

Nicely landscaped large yard with outdoor shower and deck. Enjoy all the charms of Nantucket including beautiful blooming hydrangeas and beach roses surrounding the deck and yard. Plenty of off-street parking on a quiet private dead-end lane.

We have two wonderful Yellow Labrador Retrievers who enjoy the island's many dog friendly venues - Tuppancy Links, Sanford Farm, and Dionis beach, just to name a few. We've been vacationing on Nantucket for nearly 15 years. We recently made the decision to become home-owners and to share our love of the island and our house with others wishing to enjoy the charms of Nantucket.

Why they chose this property

We love the quiet, spacious, family friendly features of this newly constructed neighborhood. The quiet streets, large green yards and convenient access to nearly all of the island are great features of Miacomet. The central location offers easy access to town (1.5 miles and a shuttle stop only a few hundred yards away). The house is a 5 minute bike ride from the south shore beaches, Bartlett Farm, Cisco Winery and Hummock Pond. Everything Nantucket has to offer is within easy reach without the crowds and traffic of Town locations. Or jump right on the bike path to Sconset or Madaket!
