Charming place
Very comfortable apartment in a quiet and pleasant dog-friendly neighborhood, 10 min drive to beaches and various places of interest. The apartment is well-equipped and Tara left us a user-friendly instructions and gifts for a comfortable stay. Our daughter enjoyed making art/crafts with the provided materials. Highly recommend.

I purchased this condo after deciding I wanted to live in my happy place. I love the beach off-season especially in September. It's a great place for inspiration and inspires a lot of my art and design work. I'm not such a fan of the summer crowds though so I rent out my home to share this beautiful place with others. In the summer, I return to my apartment in my parents' home which enables me to spend time with them and check in on my Pennsylvania friends. I enjoy interior design and am currently working on a concept that would bring designer assistance to everyday folks. I'm also a mosaic artist (the octopus and seahorse are mine) and multimedia crafter. I have been an English and French teacher for 11 years before going into corporate training in medical software applications. I'm fluent in French and a big Francophile as you can see around the condo as well. I love being a host and tried to think of every possible thing to make your stay special! I hope you are as inspired by Lewes as I am - there's a fully stocked craft area where you and your kids can make souvenirs and memories. There are a ton of games for nights or rainydays, and tv's with several streaming services downloaded. The patio is one of my favorite places; it's a wonderful spot to relax with a drink and look out over the pond and the fountain. Often there are mallards there and sometimes the great blue heron drops in, usually in the evening. It's so peaceful.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this neighborhood while condo shopping. I loved that it was so close to the main artery which made it super easy to get anywhere I wanted to go but it was back far enough to be quiet. You can almost always find someone walking a dog and the HOA has bag stations set up around the entrances to the common areas. There's a beautiful pool and a little picnic area, and everyone I've met here has been really nice.

What makes this property unique

This isn't just a rental property. This is my home. It has the personal touches and warmth you'd expect of a home and many little conveniences especially for my guests. I love making people feel at home and providing them with the space to have a wonderful vacation. I was so happy to hear all the messages from my guests last year and really enjoyed hearing about their adventures. I loved seeing the art that people made here especially the children. I can wait to hear about your adventures and see what you create here. 1. Fully stocked craft area great for rainy days 2. Leave a book; take a book library 3. Over 10 different games available including big jenga, bananagrams, trivial pursuit, etc 4. Beautiful community pool 5. 2 beaches, multiple amusements, a vineyard, outlet shopping and several state parks within 10 miles 6. Top notch restaurants to boardwalk snacks close by 7. Historical sites to explore
