The rooms were great. Sidewalks on property are uneven ,but signs posted throughout property about it. We didn’t use the pool so I can’t say anything about it other than short walk and can see part of it from front porch. Easy to get around the property. Would stay again.

Apartment was nice and clean, easy to park in January. Delightful coffee shop very close by for breakfast. We didn’t use any amenities but the beds were so comfortable and it was a great place for a weekend away with my best friend.

Great place to stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The inside is so nice and clean it’s just like a little apartment with everything you need. We would definitely stay there again when we take another trip to Galveston.

We enjoyed this stay very much! Everything was clean, organized, and furnished for a great long weekend! The host was friendly, easily reached, and had great communication. We did not use the pool area as we came for the beach, but everything was accessible if we had desired to do so. The only maybe 1/4 of a star issue would be Parking and beach proximity. Parking location provided was always full and not close to the location as preferred. The ocean is close but beach access not so much, be prepared to drive a few miles. Still excellent stay and accommodations!

Our recent experience at The Castaway Retreat was exceptional. The property was meticulously clean, tastefully decorated with a charming beach theme and included thoughtful amenities that enhanced our comfort— such as extra beach supplies and towels. The location offered convenient access to restaurants, the beach and other attractions while remaining sufficiently quiet for restful nights. Communication with LaShaun was prompt, clear, and professional, which facilitated a smooth check-in and check-out process. We genuinely felt welcome during our stay and would gladly return. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful paper with a great location

This condo is really well decorated within a quiet safe complex. Minutes from the beach and minutes for the main drag where all the action is. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Great weekend getaway!

This is a lovely condo located in a quiet, pretty complex. It was the perfect size for our family and has a comfortable sectional, beds, and a large kitchen. It’s also thoughtfully stocked with everything you’d need for a weekend stay and having a washer/dryer on sight was very convenient. The pool area is really nice and we will definitely be visiting again over the summer.

We stayed for 2 nights to see Galveston, the condo was perfect, clean and tidy and as described. La Shaun was brilliant and gave excellent recommendations and was the perfect host. Would certainly come back
