Shore Thing by GSVR | Newly Renovated Beachfront Retreat w/ Private Pool + FREE Activities/Golf

Shore Thing has a great new look with double the windows and decks on the beach side, a new pool that can be heated from October to May for $60 per day, at the main living level and updates in all 10 bedrooms. If you stayed here when it was Barefoot Bungalow II, or even the old version of Shore Thing, you'll appreciate that a great house just got even better!

Shore Thing has 10 bedrooms--9 with a King or Queen bed and adjoining bath, plus a room with a Twin over Full bunk. You know that is hard to find!

The main floor features a huge great room with plenty of gathering space for everyone to eat together. The kitchen features a spectacular beachfront view plus 2 full size refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, an undercounter icemaker and a long breakfast bar. Here you'll find 3 main floor bedrooms including 2 beachfront King bedrooms, and a lagoon view Queen. Each also has a daybed for lounging for extra sleeping space (see full description of bedrooms below). You'll also find a half bath and laundry on this floor. New for 2023 is an expanded main level deck with a new pool on this level, and steps down to a large covered space with outdoor games, sand chairs to take to the beach and a grilling area.

The top floor has 7 additional bedrooms including 5 beachfront king bedrooms, a lagoon-view queen, and a lagoon-view twin over full bunk. There is also a second laundry. New for 2023: there is a huge new upstairs beachfront porch, and lots of additional windows to open up that spectacular beachfront view.

Great house and communication with manager

Our group of 15 older adults had a wonderful weekend gathering at this large beach house in spite of rainy weather. The large and excellently equipped kitchen enabled us to eat in for every meal. Two refrigerators, two dishwashers, ice machine, and a laundry room on each floor! Communication with the manager was excellent before and during our stay. We enjoyed the warm "pool" which was not large but fun.

Perfect Beach house for large family

This was the perfect beach house!!! We had ages 10months to 93. There is an elevator, pool, 2 sets of washer/dryer and 2 refrigerators. Seven king bed rooms, 5 of which include twins with trundles. Nine and 1/2 baths. All king rooms have beach views. This beach house has the best design that I have ever seen.

Fantastic House

We had a wonderful stay at Shore Thing. The house was huge. Everyone had their own bathroom. The house was close enough to the beach even though it is behind a sand dune. We realize the importance of the sand dunes. The pool while small, was great. It worked perfect for our family because we came for the beach. The property managers responded quickly when there was an issue. The eating area Inside and out accomodated our large crowd.(26) Parking was plentiful. Nice area under the house for grilling. Very spacious house. We couldn't have been more impressed with the home.

Beautiful home!

Our group was made up of extended family and all age ranges. The home had a wonderful central gathering space for meals and games. The challenging part is that the first floor bedrooms hear everything so it’s very loud if anyone is in the common space. The management team was very responsive, however, we stopped reaching out because so many small things needed attention and was annoying they weren’t prepared properly for our stay (internet not working at check in, bottom beach step broken, pool not heated, tv remotes not working) The hardest part about staying here is that all of the towels need to be wash, dried, and folded so prepare to spend your last day doing laundry with no towels for showers on check out day. The kitchen was well stocked to be able to prepare meals and everyone had space overall we had a great time.
