Spacious Beachfront 4BR North Cape Pet-Friendly Home with Pool & Bay Views

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful retreat far away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Life slows down at the Cape. It's a magical place known only to a handful of people. The sand is silky soft & the water is shades of blue or green. (But, the occasional storm can turn the water murky.) The sunsets over the ocean are breathtaking, as are the sunrises over the bay. Cape San Blas is far enough away from big cities that you are able to see millions & millions of stars at night.

The Salty Mermaid is 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom townhouse in a quiet, gated community on the north end of Cape San Blas. It is a quick stroll to the sugar sands and blue-green waters of the Gulf. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own private bath, there is an elevator that services all floors, a closet with beach gear, as well as stunning beach and sunset views! Take the community boardwalk directly down to the beach or take a dip in the community pool. Nearby, the entire family can enjoy the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park with adventures on the Gulf, the Bay, or utilize the boat launch at Eagle Harbor in just a few minutes drive.

The 4th floor beachside bedroom has a king bed with an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a jetted tub/shower combo. This bedroom has a private balcony with views of the pool, beach, and ocean. There are two Adirondack chairs and a day bed/couch for you to relax on out on the balcony.

The 4th floor bayside bedroom features a queen bed with a twin over twin bunk, making it the perfect room for kids. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. This room also has a desk with a monitor for your use.

The 3rd floor is an open concept living room/kitchen area. There is one extra-large sectional couch in the main living room which is great for watching a game or movie with your whole group. There is a balcony off the living room with a small table and four chairs. There are two swivel chairs, a loveseat, and a coffee table on the balcony as well. The fully stocked kitchen has a peninsula with 3 barstools. There is a dining table with room for six in the kitchen. There is a half bathroom on this floor.

On the second floor, the beachside bedroom feature a king bed with ensuite bathroom and walk in shower. There is a private balcony off this bedroom with 2 Adirondack chairs, two armchairs, and coffee table. The bayside ensuite bedroom has a queen bed. This bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There is a bay view out the bedroom window. In the queen bedroom closet is a plastic tub full of various board games.

On the first floor, you will find a full sized washer and dryer for your convenience. There is a tall storage cabinet next to the washer and dryer loaded with towels and blankets for your pup if you need it. We ask that if you use these, that you wash, dry, fold, and put them away before your departure. There is also a large closet under the stairs loaded with all sorts of beach gear and chairs you are welcome to use. Please rinse off the sand and salt water before putting them away.

Outside is a gas grill for your use. We provide beach chairs, a beach cart, and some umbrellas for your use. We do not provide a tent. There are some beach toys there, too. There is an outdoor shower and hose for you to use when coming back in from the beach or a day on the water. There are some stackable plastic chairs and a folding plastic table for your use, too.

We provide a starter roll of paper towels, a new roll of TP in every bathroom, hand soap, dish soap,, laundry detergent, and small bar soaps in the bathrooms. We do not provide shampoo or conditioner or body gel.

Sea Cliffs is a gated quiet community on the north end of Cape San Blas. There is a community pool with a cabana and bathroom. There is a small playground area for children. The community recently upgraded the playground equipment. There is a walkover to the beach with benches at the top. It is a wonderful place to watch the gorgeous sunsets.

We are limited to 3 vehicles per unit, including trailered boats. But may be able to accommodate more, just message me.

We do not give refunds for weather issues, including hurricanes unless there is a mandatory evacuation. Travel insurance is widely available and relatively inexpensive. We advise purchasing travel insurance, especially during hurricane season.

You are welcome to use the elevator, but please be VERY patient. It is slow and has specific instructions that must be followed for it to work properly. Couple of tips... make sure the inner and outer doors on all levels are closed or it will not work at all, when opening the outer door from inside the elevator, a little trick is to pull the door towards you and the push it open. Children under the age of 12 MUST NOT be allowed to ride alone or play with the elevator. It is a safety issue. You are responsible for ensuring the elevator is properly operated and not abused. It is very expensive to have the elevator repaired and serviced.
