About this property

It boasts beautiful views of the mountains, pond views and is within a short walking distance to the New River. This cozy two bedroom, one bath cabin which sleeps up to four people, comes fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing, peaceful and memorable vacation.

The cabin is fully furnished, linens included, all kitchenware provided and has dining for four. Relax in the tub, read a book on the deck, turn on one of our 3 smart TV's and stream thoudands if free movies, lounge in the outdoor Fantasy Spa with LED lighting, have a cup of coffee in the gazebo or just enjoy a nice walk through the trails.

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy. You'll discover many fine restaurants, championship golf courses, winter ski resorts, antique and craft shops and many cultural events. West Jefferson was names "The Coolest Corner of NC".

You can go fishing, canoeing or tubing on the New River or visit Mt. Jefferson State Park. Other attractions include Grandfather Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Mast General Store in Valle Cruise, Linville Caverns and much more!

Bearadise is perfect for couples searching for a secluded, rustic, peaceful getaway. The cabin is private enough to enjoy time alone, but still close enough to visit downtown West Jefferson and explore all of the shops, restaurants, breweries and MUCH MORE!
You can enjoy the best of both worlds at Bearadise! We are conveniently located 3 hours from Raleigh/Durham, 2 hours from Charlotte and 1 1/2 hours from Winston-Salem.

What makes this property unique

Bearadise is a REAL log cabin that was originally built in the 80's as a one room hunting shack. It was then purchased in 2000 by a local man that added a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and loft. We purchased the cabin in 2007 and gave it a makeover and some updating, complete with fiber optic internet, a 50 inch TV and a hot tub. We find it very unique because it has so much character. You have the older, rustic hand cut stacked logs that is the original shell, the newer added on rooms and all of this is combined with the updated features. Not to mention it is decorated ALL in a bear theme! If you want a real mountain experience, this it it!
