Everything was just as described. Very clean, great accommodations, great host, kitchen stocked with all needed equipment, and a perfect location for us. Thanks for sharing
This was a great gateway for my finacè bday celebration and location not far from parks or West Jefferson downtown, good places to eat and shops, and a market near by about 5 min.. We went to Blowing Rock in downtown with good food and a nice walk. The weather was great 18 which we could have taken some trails but way too cold. The host were fast in responding, their cabin has beautiful views and very cozy which felt like home. Thank you

The property was very beautiful and very clean had a great stay
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed. Just a short drive to the creek for us to trout fish. We look forward to booking with y’all again next year.
The cabin exceeded our expectations. The mountain views and the beautiful flowers (with lots of butterflies) was an unexpected surprise. We also saw a rabbit and a deer. The property manager was awesome on being helpful and excellent communicator.
This was our second stay at Buffalo Bungalow and we will be back. Everything was clean, the beds are comfortable and a perfect location for us. Thanks for sharing
This was our second time staying at the Buffalo Cabin. We first visited in June 2025 and loved it so much that we returned to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Both experiences were amazing! The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed to feel at home and cook wonderful meals. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Mike and Danna, and their sweet dog during our stay. Sitting on the front porch, listening to the sounds of nature, was incredibly relaxing. We’re already looking forward to our next stay at the Buffalo Cabin.
It's a beautiful little secluded cabin that had a gorgeous view from the kitchen window, and other rooms. It felt extremely cozy but with plenty of room for our kids to play. We appreciate the hospitality!!
We did not get to spend much time at the cabin but it is very nice and cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend.

About the host
Hosted by Danna and Mike Ross
Mike and I have been using on line bookings services for years and have enjoyed many family vacations in the comfort of a home rather than a hotel. We live near Raleigh and visit the area often.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the Carolina mountains. We enjoy hiking, enjoying the fall colors, tubing, music festivals, and just relaxing. We are blessed to have our own cabin we can share with others so they can take in the beauty and serenity of the Appalachian Mountains.
