This home is located walking distance to downtown, a fitness park and river access. The backyard is surrounded by woods. If you are interested in Stand Up Paddle boarding on the Wisconsin River that is also a possibility, make arrangements. Riverwood Retreat is centrally located to 10 golf courses within 20 miles. I have been a life long resident of Wisconsin Rapids and have grown up in this neighborhood.
Why they chose this property
While Wisconsin Rapids and the world is constantly changing, this little neighborhood seems to stay the same. It is near things that originally attracted people to this area: Water, nature, and endless recreation opportunities. This property is located very close to our home. I thought that the close proximity to our residence would allow for ease of management.
This home is unique. It has what used to be an indoor green house. This creates lots of natural light. There are several areas in the house where you can sit, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee while observing the birds and wildlife or watch the snow falling.
This home is unique. It has what used to be an indoor green house. This creates lots of natural light. There are several areas in the house where you can sit, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee while observing the birds and wildlife or watch the snow falling.
What makes this property unique
Location, Location, Location! The Wisconsin River and walking/biking trails are very near by, just 1/4 mile away. Rental bikes are located at the end of the lane, just under the bridge. A Stand Up Paddleboard business is across the street. Make arrangements with SUP the Rapids LLC to tour the Wisconsin River. The back yard joins a conservancy. Enjoy a fall or winter walk through the woods and observe one of the virgin timber stands that still remain in the state.
