Beautiful home. Great responsive staff. We had a stray dog come to the house and the house staff was amazing in helping us find its owners. It truly made our weekend. They were amazing. My family had a blast. Would 100% recommend!
Cabin was wonderful for our family retreat! We all enjoyed the game room, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor living space, and the peaceful area.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Cabin is lovely & pretty clean. The porches with fireplaces, hot tub, & seating are fantastic. There are several different gsnong tables in & out and a great area for the teens to hang out. The downside, that I see often, is that despite the walk-in showers or main level looking easy, this cabin is not for those of us with even slight mobility & balance impairments. (Thats like most). I'm hopeful the owners will add handrails so we can return.

House was nice and met the needs for my group, we had plenty of room and the deck area was great. We really enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and arcade. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals. The listing was mostly accurate however the ping pong table was broken, the fireplace on the deck stopped working after first night and there were roaches in the downstairs bathroom. The "common aea" by the water was not at all like it was pictured or described. It was basically a 10 ft wide fenced in walkway to the platform sandwich between private property with nowhere to park a car making it unusable. Outside of the things mentioned, we would likely stay again, assuming the roaches are taken care of, which they indicated would be after I shared the information and they were responsive to my message
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy you enjoyed this home. We sincerely apologize for the issues you have encountered during your stay. We'll continue to work closely with both our local staff and the homeowner to make improvements to this home, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful getaway in the future.
House was beautiful and just as pictured. We loved all the outdoor space and the layout was perfect for our family. The kids loved downstairs, while we were able to escape upstairs. The location was great and easily accessible, however not much of a view. Upon arriving, I was impressed with how clean it was but a deep clean especially dusting would take it up a notch. The electric fireplaces made feeling cozy so convenient and easy. The master bathroom was a beautiful luxury. Better instructions on the jacuzzi would be helpful. We had to google the brand and figure out ourselves how to work the settings, but got it hot so not a big deal in the long run. Overall we had a great time.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that the house and its layout worked so well for your family, and that you enjoyed the outdoor space and cozy electric fireplaces. It’s wonderful that the master bathroom added a touch of luxury to your stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding the cleanliness and the jacuzzi instructions. I’ll be sure to pass your comments along to our local team so we can improve the deep cleaning, especially dusting, and provide clearer guidance on the jacuzzi for future guests. We’re so glad you had a great time and hope to welcome you back for another memorable stay.
All around amazing and beautiful cabin! Extremely close to downtown area & tubing. The upstairs patio lighting did not work for us but overall, I could not recommend this place enough!
Had a great time whitewater rafting with the grandkids. Thoroughly enjoyed the scenery from the deck. Kids LOVED the pool table, tv’s, hot tub, etc. We highly recommend the home to anyone.
A marvel in the mountain.
perfect for family or a couple of friends to enjoy the mountains in a quiet environment.
Loved the place and it's on top of our list if we decide to go to the maintains with a small group again.
The grizzly cabin is tucked away in the solitude and beauty of the blue ridge mountains. Just minutes away from the quaint lil towns of McCaysville and Blue Ridge. The home gets 5 stars on it all!
This was a girl's getaway weekend for four sisters. This property had a wonderful layout and the owner was very responsive. The property lacks nothing. We highly recommend.
We had a wonderful weekend at Grizzly Cabin! The house was beautiful, cozy, and fully stocked with everything we needed—from plenty of toilet paper and cleaning supplies to detergent and a great assortment of dishes and cooking tools. Our kids especially loved the ping pong table and board games, which kept them entertained the whole time (huge bonus for us!). The cabin is conveniently located just about 15 minutes from Blue Ridge, where we spent time at the park and exploring downtown. Highly recommend this place for a fun and relaxing getaway!
We had a fantastic time! The property was clean and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was a little difficult to find (our map routed us to the second entrance to the road the house was on and we arrived after dark so it was a little hard to find), so just keep a sharp eye out when arriving.
