The beauty of the Log Castle is the unique craftsmanship that creates a one- of-a-kind castle style cabin that highlights the surrounding Smoky Mountains. Little details are tucked throughout the home and you never know when you're going to find something Tennessee or mountain related! The home features windows and sliding glass doors whenever possible to give guests a window into the Smokies at every turn. Not only is the castle gorgeous inside, but the large, multi-story porch, hot tub facing the mountains, and outdoor areas are just as beautiful!
Second Story Master Suite:

PETS: We are pet friendly and happy to welcome pets during your stay! If you plan to bring pets, please read the following pet policy carefully. There is a pet fee of $48 per pet per night plus tax. This will be included in your reservation total prior to booking if pets are included in your reservation. If you need to any help adding pets after your trip is booked, please do not hesitate to let us know! Pet fees are due in full prior to your check in date. By including pets in your reservation or by bringing pets that are not listed in your reservation to the property, you are authorizing us to collect all applicable pet fees. Please note, cancellations requested based on issues with the pet policy or pet fee outlined above will not be considered.
STAIRS: This home does have stairs to access the upstairs master suite and to access the basement dungeon and back patio. There are stairs to access the porch from the grilling area/picnic table. For those with mobility limitations, the home is step free and there is a sleeper sofa available on the entry level that is accessible without stairs. The entry level patio is also accessible right off the kitchen and does not require the use of stairs.
PEST CONTROL: This property is in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, which is an extremely woodsy area. We have pest control that comes out every month to prevent bug issues, but on occasion, bugs may find their way into the home through open doors, windows, etc just like any other home. Please keep doors and windows shut whenever possible to prevent bugs from entering behind you.
WILDLIFE DISCLAIMER: The Smoky Mountains are home to a multitude of wildlife including bears, coyotes, racoons, possums, birds, snakes, etc. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep all food items/trash appropriately stored and disposed of. Clean the grill promptly after using to prevent wildlife from visiting!
SECURITY CAMERA DISCLAIMER: There are security cameras located on the exterior of the home at the front door facing the walkway. Cameras record audio and visual.
WELL WATER: Because of our location in the mountains, this home is on well water. It is completely safe and clean to drink/brush teeth/bathe in, but this is noted as some guests prefer bottled water.
CONSTRUCTION: The home is located in a developing neighborhood, so you should expect to hear some extra noise between the hours of 8am - 5pm Monday- Friday while the construction crew works to get the new homes completed.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip. Travel insurance is a guaranteed option to ensure you are able to receive reimbursement for a covered event should circumstances arise that prevent you from traveling as planned (ex: medical/family emergencies, illness, work obligations, inclement weather, etc). Please confirm with your chosen travel insurance company as to a comprehensive list of all covered events. Please note, we are not able to issue a cancellation, trip change, or refund outside of the listing policy and will refer you back to your travel insurance should your trip plans change.
RENTAL AGREEMENT: We require a signed rental agreement within 24 hours of booking. A government issued ID is required to be provided along with the signed rental agreement.
SECURITY DEPOSIT HOLD: A security deposit is required for this home. This deposit will be automatically posted to the payment method on file 3 days prior to check in date and is due no later than the day of check in. This deposit is not a charge or extra payment, but it is a $250 hold only. The only way any amount would be charged to the card on file would be if we provide details of damaged items, excessively dirty items or areas of the home, etc. This hold is released automatically 3 days following check out.
